Later that day
Tiz and Y/N spent the entire day shopping.
Tiz insisted on buying almost everything for Y/N. They roamed through countless stores, picking out clothes, shoes, cute plushies, earrings, earbuds, lockets, makeup, and plenty of other little things.
Between shopping trips, they stopped at a café, grabbed something to eat, talked for a while, and then continued shopping.
By evening, both of them were exhausted.
"I think we should go home now," Y/N said, looking at the mountain of shopping bags.
"Yeah. If we missed anything, we'll come back tomorrow," Tiz agreed.
At Y/N's Home
"I thought you were going to buy all the shops," Y/N joked as they entered the house.
"So? You're going away for five years. What if you need something?" Tiz replied.
"Do you think they don't have shops there?" Y/N asked, smiling.
"No, it's not about that."
Tiz looked down at the bags for a moment.
"It's just... these aren't only things."
Y/N looked at her.
"They're memories."
Tiz smiled softly.
"My memories. If you miss me, you can wear the locket or those earrings I gave you. Then maybe you'll feel like I'm walking beside you."
Her voice was light, but the meaning behind her words was deeper than she realized.
Y/N immediately wrapped her arms around her.
Tiz blinked in surprise.
"What happened, bro?"
Y/N pulled away from the hug and looked at her.
"I knew you loved me, but I didn't know you loved me this much."
Tiz smiled.
"Come on. We're childhood friends."
Just then, Mr. Lee entered the house.
"You girls came back."
Both of them turned toward him.
His eyes immediately fell on the piles of shopping bags.
"Wow. Did all of that fit inside your suitcase?"
Y/N looked at the bags and suddenly remembered something.
"Oh! I need to buy a bigger suitcase too."
"We'll go tomorrow," Tiz said excitedly.
Mr. Lee smiled.
"Sure."
"I'll stay tonight," Tiz announced. "Then we can go shopping together tomorrow."
Mr. Lee thought for a moment.
"I actually have a better suggestion."
"What?" Y/N and Tiz asked at the same time.
"Why don't you just move in here until Y/N leaves?"
Tiz's eyes widened slightly.
"I was thinking the same thing, but I wasn't sure if I should ask."
"That's a great idea!" Y/N said excitedly.
Tiz smiled.
"Then it's settled."
Mr. Lee looked at the shopping bags again.
