Later That Night

Jungkook parked the car in the building's parking area.

Y/N and Jungkook stepped out and headed toward the elevator.

As the doors closed, they exchanged a small smile.

For a few seconds, neither of them said anything.

Then Jungkook suddenly placed one hand against the wall beside her and leaned closer.

He looked straight into her eyes.

"I just wanted an excuse to get this close to you."

Y/N immediately burst into laughter.

"Me too."

She smiled and kissed his cheek.

Just then, the elevator doors opened.

They stepped out and walked toward his apartment.

As soon as they entered, Y/N tossed her jacket onto the couch.

Jungkook looked at her for a moment.

She looked beautiful, and he had to make a conscious effort not to stare.

He cleared his throat.

"Do you want something to eat?"

"Yes," she replied with a playful smile.

"What do you want?"

He headed toward the kitchen, and Y/N followed him.

"You."

Jungkook stopped.

He closed his eyes for a second, trying not to smile.

"Such a naughty girl."

Y/N laughed.

"I'm not hungry. I already ate a lot, and I drank too much beer."

Y/n sat on a couch.

Jungkook turned toward her and sit beside her.

"Then what..." He paused, a teasing smile appearing on his face. "Do you want to do?"

He gently brushed his fingers along her arm.

Y/N looked into his eyes.

Jungkook cupped her face and gently brushed his thumb across her cheek.

Then he leaned in and kissed her.

She kissed him back, wrapping her arms around him.

The kiss lingered, filled with all the emotions they'd been carrying through their time apart.

Jungkook pulled her closer, and Y/N laughed softly against his lips.

For a moment, they simply held each other, forgetting everything else.

Then they pulled apart, both breathing a little faster.

They looked at each other.

There was a brief silence.

And suddenly, they both burst out laughing.

Y/N rested her forehead against his.

Y/N moved closer to him, and Jungkook leaned over her, their eyes meeting for a long moment.

Neither of them said anything.

He kissed her again, slowly at first, then with more emotion.

Y/N wrapped her arms around him, her fingers gently tracing his back as she returned the kiss.
