Chapter 41

Third Person's P. O. V:

Sakuya stares with sparkling eyes at her friend as the crowd explodes into cheers. No one expected for the number 1 hyperactive knuckle headed ninja to win, but Sakuya knew he could; she'd had faith in him.

Naruto laughs as he waves to the crowd while flailing his arms around, running in circles.

Naruto had beaten Neji by sucker punching him in the jaw after hiding himself in a hole, while his clone lied on the ground after having taken a hit from the Hyuga.

Neji had explained the whole thing about the Curse Mark Jutsu created by his clan as he'd taken off his headband, revealing an x in between two wavy lines.

It was incredible to watch, and everyone was stunned when Naruto won.

Shikamaru groans, "Naruto defeated Neji? Awe man! I can't believe it! And I thought Naruto was the same as me, one of the dorky and uncool guys."

Shino glances at him and mutters, ""Dorky and uncool?""

"Now everyone's saying that he's going to make something big of himself. Just great! I don't I could beat him now. This is really bad! I've never felt so depressed. What a drag!"

As he hangs his head, Sakuya pats Shikamaru on his back comfortingly.

"Even a caged bird will smarten up and figure out how to open the door to its cage with its beak," Genma was saying to the Hyuga who is now on a stretcher. A pause. "The dream of flying and breaking free is too great to resist. But this time, you lost."

Naruto laughs joyously as he runs back up to the balcony while the medics carry Neji away.

When Naruto comes back, Sakuya hugs him tightly. "You did it, Naruto-kun. I always had faith in you."

Naruto seems surprised before he giggles and hugs me back. "Thanks, Sakuya-chan. It really means a lot, coming from you." They pull back and exchange words with Shikamaru.

"The next match is Sakuya Fujikami VS Sanna Fujikami," Genma announces and the cheers grow louder. He turns to the two pinkettes. "Get down here, you two!"

"Aye, captain!" The Fujikami princess salutes as her cousin heads down the stairs. She turns to Homura, crouching with her arms on her knees. "You ready for our grand entrance, girl?"

"Meow!" She says eagerly.

Sakuya smiles and pats her head before Homura transforms. Sakuya then swiftly mounts her and the Sabertooth jumps up onto the railing before launching into the air, fire swirling around her feet.

Those in the stands who've never seen Homura before cry out and point, murmuring to one another.

Homura seems to hover in the air for a moment or two before descending and landing gracefully by Genma.

Sakuya tells him while smiling, "We're ready, Genma Sensei!"

He smirks, crossing his arms. "That's good. Now we have to wait for Sanna."

"Don't worry, I'm here." They turn their heads to see Sanna approaching them. She stands opposite her cousin.

"Good. Now, are there any objections?" Genma questions.

"Nope!" Sakuya chimes.

"This is fine with me," Says Sanna, smiling.

"Very well. When you're ready... you may begin!"

Genma jumps back to give them room but the two Fujikami's remain there for a moment.

"Aren't you gonna make your move, cous?" Sakuya asks tauntingly.
