Chapter 89

Third Person's P. O. V:

Sakuya slams her chakra powered feet against Shiro and repeatedly kicks him back until he slams into the floor.

"You escaped from my Jutsu," The Fuyuki says as he gets to his feet.

"So I did," She retorts. Sakuya does a set of hand signs. "Petal Release: Dancing Petals Jutsu!"

Shiro gasps and flicks his gaze around at the countless cherry blossom petals. "I see," Shiro mutters before they close in on him in a spherical form.

Shiro screams as the petals cut into him before the Jutsu ends and he collapses to the ground.

Sakuya turns towards the remaining bandits who stare in shock at their leader, before glaring at the Fujikami Princess.

"You'll pay for defeating our leader!" One yells before charging at Sakuya. She bites her thumb and does a set of hand signs.

"Summoning Jutsu!" Everyone is encased in a giant cherry blossom temple. "Now there'll be no escape for you!" Sakuya performs the same technique and summons her wild cats.

"What is it you wish us to do, M' Lady?" Sarabi asks.

"Take 'em out," Sakuya orders, pointing at the incoming bandits.

"With pleasure!" Siri chimes before lunging with a growl for the first bandit. She slams into him and ren and Kyo look away as the clouded leopard tears into the man. The other wolf cats follow suit before the boys join in.

Sakuya does a set of hand signs. "Fire Style: Burning Pegasus Jutsu." A Pegasus made of fire forms before flying through the air and burning any of the bandits it comes into contact with.

Kyo uses his Sozogan to transform the enemy's weapons into logs or snakes, and Ren crystallises his opponents.

Amari uses Wind Release to cut down some men, Diallo impales others with Earth Spikes and Atsui uses Fire Style along with Sarabi and Mufasa. Izumi sends out liquid bullets and torrents of water.

Siri just kicks or punches at her opponents or even uses her tail to sweep them off their feet.

Sakuya does another set of hand signs as she creates ten horses out of lightning to charge the remaining men. Homura sends out her Will O' Wisp Jutsu to attack the bandits.

Eventually, Team 6 and Sakuya's cats have defeated the last of the bandits.

The temple disappears but the cats remain a second longer.

"That was fun!" Chimes Siri.

"Is that all you need is to do for you, M' Lady?" Asks Mufasa. The pinkette nods her head.

"Thanks, guys. You can go back now," She says gratefully before they all vanish with poofs of smoke.

Kyo points out, sheathing his sword, "Sakuya, you're injured."

Blinking her eyes, Sakuya gazes down at her left arm where Shiro had grazed her. "Oh. But so is Ren," She says, flicking her eyes to the blonde.

"Don't worry about me. Tend to yourself first," He says.

Sakuya wraps water around her right hand and places it over her wound. It glows a faint white light before she channels her healing chakra into it.

"It looks like that's all the bandits taken care of," Kyo notes, gazing around. Sakuya nods in agreement. "We'll round them up once you two have healed yourselves."

Sakuya finishes healing her arm before she moves her hand to her side. After healing it, she goes over to Ren. She crouches and places her hands over his right leg and flies her chakra into it. Ren watches as his female teammate heals him.

When she finishes, Sakuya pulls back and asks, "Hows that?"

Ren twists his leg to test it and grins at her. "All better! Thanks, Sakuya!"

She beams at him before saying, glancing to Kyo, "Let's round them up and head back to the Leaf."

Her teammates agree and they begin to tie up the bandits.

Sakuya's P. O. V:

We return to the Hidden Leaf and I give Tsunade our mission report. She seems pleased by the outcome.

"Good work, you three," Says the blonde. "You seem to work really well together."

I smile at my teammates, which they return.

Ren says, "You bet we do!"

Tsunade tells us, "Your dismissed until your next mission."

We mutter an okay before exiting the office. I say goodbye to Kyo and ten before I head home to relax with a bowl of chips, some ramune and a romance book to read.
