Chapter 95

Sakuya's P. O. V:

I was meditating to harness my chakra for my Yin Seal, when I hear Ren calling to me.

"Hey, Sakuya! Whatcha doing?"

"Meditating," I respond simply.

"Why?" He questions.

"So I can gather chakra to the center of my forehead to create the Yin Seal," I explain, trying not to get annoyed.

"Oh! How long will it take for you to make it?" Ren asks.

A tick mark appears on my forehead as I snap back, shooting him a glare, "As long it takes for you to stop annoying me!" I then flow a little chakra to my fist and punch Ren, sending him crashing into a tree with a pained grunt.

Kyo just squeezes one eye shut as he watches our teammate. I take a deep breath before resuming my position.

"That... didn't... hurt..." Ren groans out as he slumps to the ground.

"Keep telling yourself that. You know, you really shouldn't be bugging her, Airhead," Kyo sighs in exasperation.

With a tick mark, Ren demands indignantly, "What'd you call me, you Turnip?!"

I was getting annoyed again as Kyo retorts smoothly, "An Airhead, Airhead."

"Grrr! You wanna go?! Let's go!!"

I yell, startling both of them, "Would the two of you just shut up?! I'm trying to concentrate here!!"

"Sorry, Sakuya," Ren apologises.

"Yeah, sorry," Kyo adds.

"Why did I think it would be a good idea to meditate outside while these two were training?" I ask Homura who meows uncertainly. I try to resume my position with my knees crossed and the backs of my hands on them, when someone else addresses me.

"Team 6?"

"What?!" I snap, only to blink upon seeing an ANBU Black Op before me. He gazes down at me and I sweat drop slightly. "Eheheh, sorry!"

"You're needed in Tsunade-sama's office," The ANBU informs.

I blink my eyes as I reply, "Okay. We'll head there right away." He then Body Flickers away. I get to my feet and my teammates and I head to the Hokage tower. When we get there, we find Team 8 are already there. Kiba grins at me and I return it as I stand next to him.

"Now that you're all here, I have a mission for you," Tsunade begins.

Ren asks, "Both our teams?" The blonde woman nods her head.

"Yes. You're to go to the Land of Water and help the Mizuhara clan protect their Tide Jewels from a group of rogue ninja trying to steal them."

I question, "What are the Tide Jewels?"

"You'll find out more when you get there. You're to meet your client at the entrance to the Hidden Mist Village. I've already informed the Mizukage of your arrival," Tsunade says. "You leave in fifteen minutes. Good luck."

We leave and head home to prepare for the mission. Once I'd finished packing, I leave a note for Kakashi before I meet with my team at the main gate.

When everyone arrives, we head for the Land of Water to meet with our client.

As we travel, with me on the ground to feel for enemy vibrations, Ren asks, "Hey, do you think we'll see Kazumi's team again?"

"I hope so, since they live in the Hidden Mist Village, but you never know," I reply as we continue travelling. I'd told Kiba about our first mission to the Land of Water when we returned all those months ago.
