Sakuya's P. O. V:Instead of actually hitting me, the blast of electricity hits my Petal Substitution, causing cherry blossom petals to burst into the air.
"What the—?! A Substitution?!" My opponent exclaims, only to freeze when I appear behind him with my dagger held to his neck.
"You would be correct," I confirm. "I told you: I wasn't going to let you have these scrolls."
With that, I slash him with my katana and he drops like a stone. I turn to face my teammates who look relieved.
I flick the blood off my dagger before sheathing it. "Let's continue, shall we?" I ask, making Kakashi nod his head.
We travel for a few more hours before taking a break.

Kakashi and I get through to Suna no problem, without running into sandstorms or other enemy ninja. We're in front of Baki in one of the corridors of the Kazekage tower, as I give him the scrolls.
"These are the scrolls Tsunade-sama wanted us to give to you and the council," I inform him.
Baki takes them and says in his raspy voice, "Thank you. I'll give them to the elders right away."
"Right," Kakashi utters.
"You should stay for the night before you head back to the Hidden Leaf," Baki suggests.
Kakashi says appreciatively, "Thank you, but we really should be heading back soon. Though we wouldn't mind taking a short break while we're here."
"Say, is Gaara-kun around?" I ask as I gaze around, causing the Sand nin to raise an eyebrow.
"You want to see Gaara?" He asks in surprise.
"Yeah, he's my friend. Where is he?"
Baki responds, "I'm not sure. Probably around the village somewhere..."
"Okay, thanks! I'll catch up with you later, Kakashi!" I call as I fade out with Homura running beside me, leaving the two male Jounin gazing after me.
I wander around the village, using my Earth Release Sensing Jutsu, though I was frowning as it was difficult to sense vibrations in the sand.
"This is so hard! I can't feel any of their vibrations because of this stupid sand!" I complain as I pause and stomp my foot, fists clenched. "How am I ever going to find him before going home?"
I pout as a familiar raspy voice reaches my ears. "Sakuya?"
I start and turn to see Temari, Kankuro and Gaara behind me. My face lights up as it was the redhead who'd called me just now.
"Gaara-kun!!" I squeal, and use my enhance speed to dash towards him. The three of them start but not even Gaara's sand could stop me from attacking him in a hug that knocks us both to the sandy floor. "It is so good to see you again!! I was looking everywhere for you, and was worried I wasn't going to see you before Kakashi and I left for Konoha! But I'm so glad we got to see each other!"
I ignore the feeling of Kankuro gaping at me as he says in shock, "Sh-She hugged Gaara! A-And his Ultimate Defence couldn't even stop her!"
Temari muses, "Maybe it's because they're friends, Kankuro?"
"Yeah, but still... his sand usually stops anyone from touching him..."
I was still hugging Gaara when he says, "Um, it's good to see you, too, Sakuya. But, could you get off me now?"
I blink my eyes a few times at this as I apologise, "Oh! Sorry! I just got really excited!" I climb off him and pull Gaara to his feet. I smile at him.
"Hey, Sakuya!" I turn to Kankuro who grins at me. Temari is with him.
"Hey! It's good to see all of you!" I chime before we find a bench to sit on and chat together. Temari and Kankuro tell me the Sand Village still wasn't fully accepting Gaara, due to the fact he's a Jinchuuriki. "I see... so they're still not accepting him..." I clench my teeth and fist as I scowl. "It's not fair! Can't they see he's trying hard to change for the better?! How can they still be so discriminative?!"
"Calm down, Sskuya. We are working on it," Temari assures me.
"If any of them cause you any pain or trouble, Gaara-kun," I say in a deadly serious voice as I glance at him, "you let me know, okay? And I'll deal with those jerks! I'll make sure they're never mean to you like that again, young or old!"
Gaara mutters after staring at me for a moment, "Thank you, but you shouldn't get involved."
"You're my friend, Gaara, of course I'll stand up for you!" I insist, surprising him.
Gaara doesn't say anything and looks away.
"I'm sure he appreciates it, Sakuya," Temari tells me. "Thank you."
Kankuro asks, "So what were you complaining about the same for back there?"
I reply, "Oh, I was using my Earth Release Sending Jutsu to find you guys, but I couldn't because the sand makes the vibrations fuzzy."
Kankuro quirks an eyebrow. "Fuzzy?"
I nod my head. "It's a lot easier to use that Jutsu on a solid surface, such as concrete or dirt."
"I see," He murmurs.
We get ice cream and chat for about another hour before Kakashi shows up.
"Hey, ready to go home?" The Hatake calls, seeing me with the Sand Siblings.
I had finished my chocolate ice cream and nod, before we stand up. I hug Temari, Kankuro and Gaara before I go over to my Guardian. They see us to the gate.
"Safe travels back to the Leaf," Says Kankuro.
I nod my head. "We will." I give Temari a teasing smirk. "And I'll be sure to say hi to Shikamaru for you, Temari."
She starts as I giggle and demands with a blush, "Wh-What are you talking about?!"
"I know you like him!" I sing.
"Shut up! It's not like that!"
"Take care of yourself, Gaara-kun," I say to the green eyed boy who nods his head.
"You too."
I smile and wave as Kakashi and I turn and start for the Leaf Village once again.
Kakashi asks me as we run, "He really has changed, hasn't he? He's not as menacing as before."
I murmur as I smoke to myself, "You're right. He has and he's not."
