Chapter 53

Sakuya's P. O. V:

I was on my way home from my team's latest mission when I hear the voices of Team Seven nearby. It sounds like they're up to something.

It's been a few days since Tsunade became Hokage and I asked her to teach me to heal the mind, which she agreed to.

I pause as I glance down at Homura beside me. "Wonder what's going on with them?"

"Meow?" She questions.

"Let's go check it out!" I say before turning and leaping through the trees, Homura following. I land on a branch hanging above a street Team 7 are gathered in, minus Kakashi, and see that Sasuke is about to walk away. I sit while leaning my back against the trunk and one knee bent with the other dangling, my arms crossed. This ought to be interesting.

Sakura agrees with the Uchiha but Naruto attempts to convince Sasuke to join them. Naruto asks Sasuke, "What if he has lips..." Sasuke freezes mid step. "... like a blimp...?" A horrified look crosses my face at this and I wrench a glare around to the blonde. That's what he thinks is behind Kakashi's mask?! Naruto snickers as Sasuke wobbles in place. "... or maybe buckteeth?!"

The Uchiha twitches violently at this, before going statue still. How dare he...! I grit my teeth, my glare darkening, trying to hold myself back. A visible shudder goes through Sasuke's body violently and he agrees to join them.

I decide to make my presence known, since none of them have noticed me yet. "I've seen his face!" I call down to the Genin of Team 7, startling them. "And I can tell you for a true fact that Kashi-kun looks absolutely nothing like that!"

Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura whirl around to see me perched in the tree, my left hand held up as I glare down at the blonde for his description of my Guardian. Naruto gulps audibly in fear.

"Sakuya!!" The three of them chime in surprise.

"Yo! Been awhile, hasn't it?" I ask as I use my Wind Style Flight Jutsu to help me float to the ground. I land gracefully and as I straighten, I could swear I see a hint of pink on the Uchiha's cheeks. Homura lets out a cute meow as she lands smoothly beside me too.

"It sure has, Sakuya-chan!" Agrees the Uzumaki.

"Hi, Homura!" Sakura greets. The Nekomata meows and jumps into her arms. Sakura giggles as she pats her.

"What are you three up to now?" I question with the backs of my hands on my hips.

"We're trying to see what Kakashi Sensei looks like under his mask," Naruto explains. "Hey! Since you're here, Sakuya-chan, and you live with him, can you tell us what he looks like?!"

"Yes, please!" Sakura urges.

I cross my arms as I deny, "No way! Forget it!" This surprises them. "Besides, I already told you that he looks nothing like what Naruto-kun described. You're never going to be able to get close enough to see his face."

"Aw, come on, Sakuya-chan! I thought we were friends?" Naruto begs, pouting.

"No way!" I refuse, shaking my head. "I'm not going to reveal Kashi-kun's biggest secret, even though we are friends."

"Not even for a box of chocolates?" I gape at Naruto as he pulls a box of plain chocolate from his weapons pouch.

"Do you just keep random stuff stored in that bag of yours?" I demand in shock, my eyes bugging. Naruto snickers.

"Well? How about it?"

I stare down the box of chocolates, ignoring Sasuke and Sakura staring at me.

"NO MEANS NO, YOU IDIOT!!" I snap. "Do you think I'm stupid enough to be baited by that?! I'll never give up Kashi-kun's secret! Come on, Homura! Let's go for a ride on Kin."
