Maloi's POV
"Hey, Lance!" I called Stacey's boyfriend.
"Kapag hindi nakauwi ng buo sa bahay nila itong si Stacku, babalatan kita ng buhay. Do you understand?" I warned him and gave him my serious look. I saw him swallowed an invisible lamp and nodded.
I was with Stacey the whole day. She helped me review my lessons and prepare the papers we need to pass for the theatre competition. That's when I thought that I should act not too sweet and not too cold towards her. I should act as a normal friend to her.
Nalaman ko rin na alam na ng parents ni Stacey na may boyfriend na ito. Parents pa nga lang ni Stacey, sinusuportahan na siya sa mga bagay na gusto niya, ako pa kaya na best friend lang niya? I should go with the flow nalang.
"O-of course, Maloi. Hindi ko siya pababayaan. I love her so much." Lance assured me. Colet, Mikha, Sheena, Gwen, and Aiah laughed because of our conversation. Natapos na kasi ang kanya-kanya naming training at pauwi na kami.
"Don't be just a sweet talker, Lance. Gawin mo!" I answered. He just nodded.
Lance reached for Stacey's bag and carried it for her. "Mauna na kami." Paalam ni Lance sa amin. "Okay. Bye." Sagot ko rito. Stacku went closer to me and gave me a kiss on my cheeks bago kumaway sa amin nang paalis na sila.
I just smiled while watching the two of them disappeared in my eyes.
Mabalatan ko nga sana siya ng buhay ng wala ng istorbi sa buhay namin. I told myself.
I jump out of shock when Sheena slap my shoulder hard. "Hoy, Maloi! Ano 'yon? You've already moved on? Wow! Speed!" she clapped slowly.
"Abuse! Gwen oh!" pagsusumbong ko pero umiling lamang ito. "I haven't moved on yet." I shyly respond at nagtago sa likod ni Colet. "Hindi pa ako nakamove on, hindi pa ako makalet go." I told them.
"We understand. In time siguro, Maloi." Aiah gave me her calming smile so I can't help it but to smile at her too. Para talaga siyang si Mama Mary. I heard Mikha faked a cough at inakbayan ako saka kami naglakad palabas ng gate. Ang lakas naman bumakod nito. All yours, my friend.
"I think I know what you should do para makamove on." Sheena smirked. Nakasunod lang pala sila sa amin.
"Spill." I told her.
