My life had turned out so beautifully, far beyond my wildest dreams.
I thought back to my teenage years, when I first met Stacey. We were inseparable, always sharing our secrets, dreams, and adventures. Together, we faced every challenge that life threw our way, our friendship growing stronger with each passing year. Natatawa pa rin ako kapag naaalala ko 'yong mga nangyari at kung paano ako nagpakatanga. Not gonna lie, all of those are worth it.
We both pursued our dreams of becoming doctors. It was a challenging journey, but we supported each other every step of the way. Sometimes, I feel like quiting my job lalo na kapag sobrang hassle ng work load. Losing a patient - 'yan ang biggest fear ko. Nanginginig pa rin ako kada mangyayari 'to. There was a time where I lost a patient where I almost break down in front of her parents. My wife came rushing, hugging me tightly and reminding me howI did my best to save that kid's life. Doon palang, alam ko nang kailangan kong magpatuloy. Doon palang, alam ko nang hindi ko dapat ihinto ang pagtulong sa iba.
She's my home. She's my peace. She's my serenity.
We also started a family, and our son, Kyle through IVF brought immense happiness into our lives. Watching him grow and develop was the most rewarding experience of our lives.
Even though we faced ups and downs along the way, our love for each other remained strong. We were each other's rock, our constant support, and our greatest source of joy.
"Mama, you're spacing out." My 7 year old son pouted. Dinala ko siya ngayon dito sa Bloom's. Hinihintay lang namin ang mga kaibigan ko. The girls has different errands.
"Sorry baby, mama was just thinking about my teenage years. Teka, what's with the face? Are you still upset?" I asked.
Stacey scolded him earlier, paano ba naman kasi ay pinagtulungan nila ng kambal ng JhoLet 'yong mga kalaro nila samantalang si Ep na kuya nila ay siya pang nagvideo sa mga ito. Proud na proud pa silang pinakita kay Colet. Hagip din sa video ang pag-awat ni Gwyn sa mga ito, kung hindi pa dumating ang anak ni Shee ay baka hindi pa sila nagtigil.
Tingnan mo nga naman, kung sino pa ang tarantado noon, siya pa ang nagkaanak ng mabait sa aming apat.
"Mommy's mad again. Like, always naman po. Is she on period?" Kyle innocently asked na siya namang ikinagulat ko.
