(Months after the engagement)
Maloi's POV
Today is a bright sunny day and I just done taking a quick run around the subdivision. I'm here sitting at my balcony while looking up to the clear blue sky. Life's been doing good for me lately. When I was a kid, I used to be dreamy with a lot of things and right now, I am finally achieving it -- with Stacey, the girl of my dreams.
A goofy smile came out of my lips as I imagine growing old with her. Sipping coffee in the morning while watching our grandchildren play. Damn! I can't believe I'm getting married to her. After all the pain and struggles, we are finally getting there.
Natawa nalang ako when I unconsciously wrote 'M & S' in the sky. Wala talagang pinipiling edad at gender when it comes to love.
But I was startled when I heard laughs and bantering. I immediately diverted my gaze to my gate and saw Colet, Mikha, and Sheena observing me. Siguro ay nakita rin nila 'yong ginawa ko. What the hell!
"Uhh, you guys are here again. Ano bang mga problema niyo? Wala ba kayong mga trabaho?" I asked them. Ilang araw na silang pabalik balik dito para tanungin kung kailan ang date ng kasal namin.
I wasn't answering their questions because Stacey and I decided to announce it 2 days before the wedding. I want them to rush and struggle.
"Ganyan pala kapag ikakasal na, in love na in love." Sheena started as she entered my property. The two immediately followed her tapos si Colet, dire-diretsong pumasok sa bahay ko.
"Wow! Sige guys, feel at home." I sarcastically told them.
"Baka she'll take a shit lang. Calm down!" Mikha butted in. "So, when's the wedding?" she added.
"Why are you all excited ba? Basta, malalaman niyo rin." I just answered and offered them to take a seat in my garden.
Later on, Colet arrived while opening a whiskey. "Hey! My parents might see us. Ang aga aga, Col." paninita ko rito.
