Chapter 26: Regardless of What is Certain in This World

Mikha's POV

"Maloi!" Colet yelled and we all rushed to Maloi when we saw her here in NBS. Colet and I went here after searching a specific book for her course. Wala kaming makita sa fully booked earlier eh. We accidentally bumped into Sheena and Gwen too kaya magkakasama kami ngayon. 

"What are you doing here? I thought you said you had to do a project?" Gwen asked.

"Yes, I just needed to buy some stuff for ..." Maloi held Sheena and Gwen's arms as she pulled them to the other aisle kaya sumunod kami ni Colet while exchanging knowing looks. 

"Are you with anybody? Alyx?" Colet asked her. 

She was about to answer nang biglang may nagsalita.

"Bub, I can't find the ..." we all looked at the girl who just spoke. "Stacey!?" we all said at the same time as we bumped into her at the end of the aisle. 

"Are you two here together?" Sheena asked, shifting her glances from one to the other. 

"And did you just call Maloi 'Bub'?" I added. 

"NO!" Maloi and Stacey screamed at the same time. 

"Woah chill, you guys!" Gwen laughs, raising both of her hands in front of her. 

"Kayo na ba? Stacey, I thought you said you were not feeling well?" Sheena asked Stacey who's now looking so nervous. Halos mamutla na ang mga labi niya whila Maloi's sweating already. 

"Yes / No" the both replied. Stacey slapped her forehead. 

"I meant, I was not feeling well. Earlier. yes, earlier lang ..." she defended. 

"But I needed stuff for the ... uhm ... project ... so I asked Stacku." Maloi cut in.

"And I remembered that I needed... some stuff .. for a project." Stacey added in. This is so funny, hindi na sila halos humihinga. 

"So, yes.. since we both have projects, we thought .. hey.. yes .. want to go to the mall or something?" Maloi chimed in while Stacey fervently nodded her head. Sheena smirked at Colet and then at me. The three of us seems like reading each other's mind.
