Maloi's POV
"I'm so done memorizing! Pagod na utak ko!" Sheena shouted not minding the other customers in Bloom's. After school, Colet, Mikha, Sheena, and I decided to meet up para sama sama naming tapusin ang mga requirements namin. Well, si Colet lang naman may plates so the three of us are facing our laptops. Mikha's doing here ppt presentation while Sheena and I were memorizing.
"Break muna. 2 hours na tayong walang imikan baka di na natin kilala isa't-isa." I joked. Mikha closed her laptop but Colet didn't stop from working.
"Ang lungkot ng buhay mo, Col." Sheena smirks and shook her head. "Chill ka lang. Running for Magna ka ba?" she added.
"Yes, Magna-nine years sa Architecture kapag hindi ka tumigil sa kakadaldal diyan." masungit na sabi ni Colet kaya hinayaan nalang namin siya. Mikha on the other hand, ordered another set of coffees and snacks for us. Ang hirap kasama ng mga 'to baka bumulagta nalang ako kaka-inom ng kape.
An idea came up to me, alam ko na kung ano magpapatigil sa ginagawa ni Colet.
"I saw Jhoanna's post. She's big time now, she'll perform in Coachella." I told them and just like that, mabilis pa sa alas kwatrong tumingin si Colet sa akin. See? Patay na patay pa rin.
"Really? Akala ko nga before makakasama natin siya until college eh. You know, she likes broadcasting before." Sheena replied.
"I'm happy for her." Colet faked cough and awkwardly look away. "Anyways, visit tayong California this semester break? You know, chill and all. Hindi naman tayo pupuntang Colorado desert eh. We're not even going to watch her perform. You know ... visit lang tayo sa California para maiba." she added, still not making an eye contact to any of us. I saw Sheena and Mikha trying not to laugh at how awkward Colet is right now.
"Defensive much?" Mikha teased.
"In love so much?" Sheena added. At wala na kaming nagawang tatlo kundi matawa.
"Stop fucking with me. Ikaw Shee, wag kang iiyak pag iniwan ka ni Gwen. Ikaw Mikhs, darating din katapat mo. Maybe after 8 years. And Maloi, I saw Stacey with a guy. Ayon sila oh!" She said kaya nagulat ako. I slowly look at where Colet is pointing to.
And I saw a guy carrying the bag of the girl I am currently dating.
"Sheesh! What the hell is happening?" I heard Sheena commented.
"Approach them. Let's go, samahan kita." Mikha insisted and stood up habang inaantay ako.
