Stacey's POV

"Happy birthday, Aiah!" I blowed the party horn repeatedly and I wasn't planning to stop if Aiah didn't throw a pillow at me, playfully.

"Ugh. It's too early, Stacey! Where's Mikha Lim?" she groaned after noticing that the girls are all here but her Mikha Lim is missing. But she smiles after seeing us with our cute party hats and party horns.

"Well, your Mikha Lim went to her company. Colet and  Sheena had to go somewhere na hindi nila sinasabi kung saan. So, are you happy that I was the one to greet you?" I flopped fown next to her. "Happy Birthday, Aiah." I whispered softly, snuggling closer to her.

"Thank you." she whispered hugging me back.

"Hoy! Isali niyo naman kami!" Gwen and Jhoanna said in unison before diving in the bed and laid down beside me and Aiah.

Our eyes glued on the ceiling, not talking. And I noticed how slowly, our eyes became sad. I don't have to ask why for I already know the reason behind it.

Maloi's still not here. She used to do this for Aiah, with the six of us. We did the same thing last year, when she was still here.

My mind went to the time I found out she left, the time where my best friends and I talked.

I just received a message from Sheena, I realized how powerful a single text can be. Imagine, that text alone managed to shatter my heart, dreams, and even my life.
