Maloi's POV
"Hey, daydreaming again?" Colet asked while fixing papers. Nasa Bloom's kami ngayon as usual to study and catch up. Kaming apat lang dahil busy daw si Stacey with her lab reports and Gwen's not with Sheena today. I was a bit surprised when Sheena said she was not with her girlfriend and by just looking at her, it seemed they were not okay.
"I guess I know who she's thinking of." Mikha added in, giving Colet a high five.
"Quit it guys .." I told them. Sheena's just playing with her food at halatang hindi siya nakikinig sa aming tatlo.
"Isn't this deja vu?" Mikha asked, while cleaning her laptop. Colet is now highlighting her books.
"How?" I asked back.
"What Mikha was trying to say is, way back in high school, andito rin tayo sa Bloom's while you were ranting about how badly you fell for Stacey." Colet explained, not even looking at us.
"Considering it was the first day of school palang noon. Ang landi mo, Maloi." Sheena butted in. Wow! Look who's talking. Akala mo naman hindi patay na patay sa girlfriend niya.
"Wait, bakit daw wala si Gwen?" I asked Sheena.
"I don't know. I feel like she's trying to avoid me eh, parang may tinatago." she shook her head and went back to eating.
"Seriously? You guys looks so perfect. Kulang nalang kainin niyo isa't-isa sa harap namin." Colet deadpanned.
"Oh shut the fuck up, Vergara! Inggit ka lang kasi wala kang Gweneth. Teka, bakit ako na topic dito? Maloi, ano na?" Sheena laughs.
"But seriously guys, I feel it in my heart that I'm in a good place whenever I am with her. She's my soulmate, so I can feel her..." I said while arranging the fries like lego pieces. "Minsan iniisip ko, kahit anong mangyari sa open relationship namin, I'm still thankful for this opportunity for us to set everything straight and heal from our past. At least we are able to show how much we love each other." I added.
"It's been months, Maloi. Wala pa ring progress sa inyo?" Colet asked seriously. Worries and sympathy written all over her eyes.
"I promised myself I'll wait." I answered and smiled as I remembered the last time we were together. When I sang for her.
"Are you sure? Ni hindi mo nga yata pinag-isipan ang setup niyo." Mikha shook her head. "Look, I have nothing against you guys. Gusto ko lang walang masaktan sa inyong dalawa." she added.
