The Silent Despair

In the abyss of my mind, darkness reigns,
No glimmer of understanding can be found.
Blinded by shadows, my closed eyes weep,
Lost in a world where despair knows no bound.

Silence engulfs me, my ears deafened by dread,
No solace in the whispers of hope or cheer.
Locked in a prison of silence, my voice suppressed,
As the weight of darkness smothers all I hold dear.

My heart, a void of life, beats with a hollow rhythm,
No warmth or light can pierce its cold embrace.
Enveloped by darkness, it craves the touch of light,
But finds only emptiness in this desolate space.
