Will you be cruel and callous,
Pushing him to the edge,
Watching as he plummets alone,
Or will you grasp him tightly,
Guiding him towards another,
Someone you deem worthy,
Someone who can truly rescue him.
Or will you clasp his trembling hands,
And together, leap into the abyss,
Embracing the impossible,
Surrendering to the void's embrace.
