I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up
I'm still looking up

Difficult Conversations.
Leah was already awake this morning, and when she saw me awake, she was very scared. She looked like she'd been punched in the face. "You okay Leah? How did that happen?" I asked, running my finger over it. "You don't remember...?" She whispered, starting to laugh and I shook my head. "You fucking battered me." She giggled and my eyes POPPED out of my head. "I DID WHAT?!" I shouted, sitting straight back up.
"Last night...? You had a nightmare and I tried to wake you up. You straight punched me in the face." She giggled and I felt SO BAD. "I did...?" I whispered and she nodded. "I'm so sorry, Le." I spoke and she shook her head. "You're good. It doesn't hurt, honestly. Was a little more of a shock. Are you okay though? Are you feeling a little better?" She asked and I nodded because I did. "I don't even remember having a nightmare." I whispered and she started smiling. "That's good actually. That's really good."
She opened her arms, and I hugged her, still apologising for hurting her, but she kept saying it was okay and that it was all fine. We ended up getting up together and going downstairs, grabbing some breakfast.
"Don't forget we are meant to be going out today for team bonding." She smiled, her hand on my shoulder as I cooked us some eggs. "Eh, I don't know. I might just stay here." I replied but Leah spun me around. "Come, please? At least for meeeee. We all want to see you, of course, but I want you there." She begged and I rolled my eyes. "Fine. For you though." I smiled and she hugged me quickly before our eggs burnt.
We had scrambled eggs on toast, and it just brought me back to when Mapi made this for me, and now it's just... mine and her thing. "You still miss her?" Leah asked me and I nodded. "I won't ever not miss her unless I'm actually with her." I sad smiled and she held my hand over the table. "I know. I really know. It'll work itself out." She smiled and I shrugged, going back to eat my breakfast.
"I'm going to go home in an hour or so to spend time with my girlfriend, BUT, you have to come today. If you're not there, I'll come pick you up myself." She spoke and I nodded, pinkie promising that I'd be there, which made her relax a little. We spent the next hour just talking and watching another episode of Orange Is the New Black on the sofa until it came time for Le to leave.
"I promise I'll be there. Kim's right?" I asked and she nodded. "You better be there. Remember, bring your swimmers and some spare clothes." She smiled and I stopped a little. "I didn't bring a bikini..." I whispered. "I'll go to yours and get one. Any in particular?" She asked and I shook my head. "Nah, I don't mind. Get my swim shorts too though please?" I chuckled and she nodded. "I'll see you there." She parted ways with a kiss on the top of my head, a cute little hug, and a goodbye as I stood on the step outside in Beth's dressing down, waving her away with my tea in hand.
