Why?

Today I had another party, it was just one of Ellie's friends' parties, but she lives near me, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

I woke up with a massive migraine and decided to take some paracetamol that I stuffed into my drawer a few days ago, as I messaged Katie.

Katie💓

Hey, I'm awake but I have a massive migraine. I will be down soon I just need the paracetamol to work first x.

Okay love. Want anything bringing up? X

No thanks mama. I'll be okay x.

I will never get over you calling me that. Ever. I love you x.

I love you too x.

She is the absolute cutest. She loves it when I call her that. "Mama."

I walked downstairs after the paracetamol had started working and saw Rue and Katie on the couch. I walked over to them, and Katie opened her arms, letting me slide into them. I stayed there for a while before we heard the doorbell ring. ELLIE!

I ran over to the door and opened it. And yes, it was my Ellie. She was coming to mine for a few hours to get dressed before we went to her friend's house. She said hi to Katie and Rue before I dragged her upstairs. We laid on my bed for a good hour, just scrolling through TikTok and other social media.

"Lauren. How have you not started getting ready? It is literally 2pm and the party starts at 5." she spoke while we were laid on my bed. How on earth was it 2pm already?

I jumped in my shower, shaving and washing my hair as Ellie picked out an outfit for me. Once I got out, she showed me this small black ruched dress which was actually stunning. I started blow drying my hair as Ellie started getting dressed.

I put my makeup on, and went all out but still basic; foundation, concealer, bronzer, everything, just not eyeshadow. I genuinely hate eyeshadow. I put on my dress, and it was now 4:30. I put my shoes on and sprayed myself with perfume as did Ellie. We walked downstairs hand in hand and saw Katie and Rue.

"You look so beautiful, but that dress is a little short." Katie spoke, spinning me around.

"Leave her alone babe. She's going to have a good night." Ruesha laughed.

"Lauren! The taxi is here." Ellie shouted as I hugged my parents' goodbye.

"Please don't get too drunk girls." Rue shouted as we walked out the door.

The taxi took us to Ellie's friend's house, and I was immediately scared. Very scared actually. We walked in hand in hand as we greeted everyone; the guys, the girls, and everyone else. They all seemed really nice, but one guy in particular seemed interested in me.

I swore I was gay, honestly, but this guy was really cute; hot even. I walked over to the alcohol part of the room as Ellie poured me a vodka and coke. Me being me, I downed it straight away, wanting to have as much fun as possible. We then had some shots of straight vodka.
