Newt

Lilith's POV

"It has been a week," I thought as I looked at the younger students chatting and running around the field. "A week of not seeing Dromeda since I been transported to this time," I muttered frowning then I looked up at the sky as I gazed at the clouds.

"And a week of not getting fucked!" I curse as I roll around on the ground not minding the weird stares I was getting from passerbies.

Sighing, I grumbled as I sat back up and thought about what had happened before I got to where I was. I remembered being hit by a bright light before being transported into the black lake. I thought about how, though the magic hit me hard, it seemed like the chaster didn't have any intentions to harm me as I thought about why they sent me back in time I heard Someone calling out to me.

Looking back, I saw my clumsy but cute saviour, the one and only Newt Scamander. As he approached, I couldn't help but smile at him as he fumbled around and carried his notes towards me.

From the moment I opened my eyes this time, he was always the first person to take care of me. He helped me adjust even if he didn't know why. I seemed confused about a lot of stuff, but he never questioned me and was always there when I called for him. His sudden acceptance of me also made me confused so I tried interacting with others but when I did it was like they didn't find anything strange with something appearing out of nowhere as if I had always been there but I shook that thought out of my head as Newt sat beside me.

No One's POV

As Newt approached Lilith he eagerly showed her his notes on the creature they discovered wounded in the forest. He still remembers that time when they saw that a small bowtruckle was crying for help in the forbidden forest when he and Lilith helped and later on named him Pickett. It was like naming their first child, as Newt thought, causing him to blush but shook his head as he went back to talking about the new things he discovered about Pickett. As Newt went on and on about his discoveries, Lilith just nodded along with a warm smile on her lips, making the young man pause and stumble in his speech. Which was noticed by her making her chuckle, making him even redder as he laughed with her.

As the two conversed and laughed, you could almost see sparkle around them, making the others who saw them think that they were a couple making some chuckle while others were jealous.

No One's POV

It has been a month since Lilith has been transported to Newt's time, and in a way, she was adjusting pretty well though the fact she has been deprived of her desires has been weighing on her and the unfortunate person who garnered her interest is her sweet little future magizoologist. As she thought of Newt, she couldn't help but let out a smile, charming people around her as she strides down the halls of Hogwarts.

He gave her a different feeling it was not like when she spends time with Dromeda, and it is also not the same when she is with her other lover... is that what they are called, she thought as she contemplated on what the word meant, or maybe the right term is targets she muttered as a frown appeared on her face.

As she walked she suddenly felt hands blocking her sight slightly startling her but as she was about to demand them to let go she smelt Newt's scent making her chuckle and hold his hands gently and called him out as she smiled. "Newt, what are you doing?" Feeling her smile, Newt couldn't help but laugh and said, "Why is it that you always know when I'm the one covering your eyes?" Asked as he pouted and wrapped his hands around her waist as he kissed her cheek. Anyone who saw this would have thought that these two were lovers but unfortunately for us, we have a naturally sweet but shy (when it comes to expressing his feelings) creature-obsessed boy and an always horny and dense female.

Behaviour such as holding hands, cuddling, and kissing (the innocent type) became a common thing for the two of them. And as I have mentioned, even though she wanted him, she doesn't have the heart to play with him. In her eyes, he should be protected and innocent. She never thought of going to the next stage with him (her idea of going to the next stage is friends to friends with benefits and NOT friends to couples).

Though she had thought of it more than once and attempted to do more with him she always stopped at the last minute when she saw him smile with such warmth and kindness making her feel this strange feeling in her tummy. Making her think she has diaria. (Stupid, I know, but I can't think of anything else 😅)

The same could be said with Newt as he also found himself with the same feelings as her. Every time he was near her he could feel himself shiver in delight at the warmth of her body, the softness of her skin, her smile that makes the room brighten, and her smell that makes him go nights without sleeping thinking of her.

He was confused at first and asked Madam Pomfrey for help, but instead, she just chuckled and said it was a common thing for boys in his age as she just patted his shoulder and made him leave. This made him go and ask his friends for help, which ended up with him being laughed at and telling him he was interested in Lilith or from how he explained it, maybe even in love with her.

When he finally understood what he felt for her he was so embarrassed that he hid from her but that didn't last long as he was hunted down by her and with the betrayal of Pickett he was easily cornered by her so in the end he made excuses so that she wouldn't find out but he also promised her that he wouldn't do it again.

So this is where it led them now an interaction that almost seemed amazing for the both of them but was torture for him as he watched her misunderstand his actions as friendly gestures and her continuing to flirt with who she thinks is cute in front of him. Making his heart ache.

Until he finally dared to confess.
