Chapter 46

Did I say anything wrong? Because Adams isn't saying anything!

But then I heard him answered, "it's not a problem. When is that?"

"Tomorrow." I replied.

Suddenly I remembered what Camilla once said. On the first day Adams took me to the hospital, she said she doesn't like me, that I was coming in between them as he had started to spend more time with me compared to her, she asked if I would be happy with my life after getting in-between friends. That didn't sound cool with me. I felt the words suffocating me just thinking about it, I quickly struggled for air and began panting. Adams slowly stopped the car, "are you okay?"

I nodded at him, "yeah, just thinking if we could stop by at Camilla's modeling session."

"She wouldn't want you to come. I know her."

"Well, you can drop me first at my house, then go alone." I said in barely a whisper.

He glanced at the time, "they must have finished by now."

I sighed dejectedly.

We finally packed at some place, he asked if I would be cool in the car or would like to come in with him, though my abdomen was the most painful thing ever I ended up going with him.

Oh it's the customised shop. Where you can order for customised items. He ordered customised matching keys for us. The only thing was the difference in our names and nationality, as that's how they are doing it; with a person's name and nationality written at the back. They started mine first. Adams told them my name. "Jasmine Safar, and nationality is Nigerian."

They made my customised car key and handed me, I smiled at that. It was beautiful. I kept gawking at it. It made me happy.

Once Adams was to say his name, I stopped to see how they would design his'.

"Adams and nationality's..." He couldn't finish but trailed off.

"Nationality sir?" The man politely asked again.

I watched as Adams forcefully gulped down saliva, "nationality's ethi..." he began, then he glanced at me, and my heart sank.

"Nationality's Sco-tti-sh!"

He finally said it out, and I smiled at that. He looked towards me as he gulped down more saliva, "you did it," I whispered with a smile, before giving him a thumps up. My heartbeat became steady at that. I just wanted to help and i'm glad I did.
