Bucky Barnes X Reader

You giggled as you watched Bucky snore on the couch. He looked so peaceful sleeping, much more peaceful then he did when he was awake. Sometimes you wondered if he actually was awake or in some nightmare like state.

You'd never heard him snore before it was utterly adorable. A sleepy smile ghosted his face and a whisper parted from his lips. You smiled as he whispered something again "(y/n)" he muttered a bit louder the smile falling from his face.

"(y/n)!" He screamed his back arching in pain, you grabbed his shoulders trying to calm him down "Bucky I'm here, I'm okay wake up" he continued to roll around in agony. You looked down worriedly "Buck, please wake up!" He shot up into a sitting position a look of horror on his face.

His breathing was heavy and ragged, his eyes widened as he looked around. His blue eyed fell on you and he and seemed to calm down. "Bucky what happened are yo-" you were cut off as he wrapped his arms around you in a needy hug. Shocked, you awkwardly wrapped your arms around him and patted his back.

"They had you" his warm breath tickled your ear "who had me" you asked pulling away so you were and arm length apart. He looked down to the floor "Hydra" carefully you took both his metal and non metal hand in you own and raised them to touch your cheeks.

You watched as his eyes widened "I'm here and I'm okay" he nodded brushing a stray strand of your hair away from your face, "(y/n), " he paused and looked into your eyes, they were such a beautiful colour, always filled with joy and things that he missed.

He began to draw closer to you until his lips remained only centimeters away from your own. For a moment neither of you did anything, Bucky's eyes had found their way to your lips whilst your own studied his face intently.

And then so quickly his lips where on yours, the hands that held his hands to your cheeks flung around his shoulders. His lips were soft and warm, you melted into the kiss that was gentle yet filled with so much passion. Bucky's arms wrapped around your waist pulling your bodies closer together.

Lips moved in sync as his tongue danced with your own. Slowly he broke away a faint blush on his cheeks, "I uh" he rubbed the back of his head as you smiled and placed a light kiss to his forehead "Sweat dreams Bucky" you muttered sweetly before skipping off to bed.
