I'm So Very Sorry (Part 2)

Nicole's POV

Screaming 

All I heard was screaming, it was so loud it was giving me a headache. Then the shaking started but the screaming wouldn't stop "NICOLE WAKE UP!" wake up? Wasn't I already awake? I opened my eyes and realization finally hit me, I was screaming and my dad was shaking me awake. I stop and took a deep breath, I was in my room, it was all a dream. Thank god 

"Nicole are you ok? You been screaming for the last 10 minutes and your crying" I touched my face and it was wet, I must have been crying in my sleep. He gave me a hug and repeated the same question but I was still in too much shock to answer   

"Nicole is there something going-" but I cut him off

"Dad i'm fine. It was just a nightmare, sorry for waking you up and go back to bed" I get up and pull him off my bed and out my room. Before I could close the door he put his foot in it "Nicole you know you can always tell me if somethings wrong"

"I know daddy but i'm ok. Goodnight love you" and with that I shut the door on his face, rude? Yes but I don't need him to worry about me. I go into my bathroom and turn on the light, as soon as they come on I see a mess. My hair tangled, my eyes puffy and red from crying, clothes a mess, I look like shit

I washed my face off of tears and brushed out my hair enough to get all the tangles out then make a fish tail, that's better. I leave my bathroom and check the time, 4:50 am, too early for me to be getting up. I go back in bed and start to fall asleep, I need all I can get

(Four days later)

It was Thursday and me and Vanessa were back in school, this week has been something. Vanessa has been acting quiet and secretive which is weird, I need to talk to her. Maya and me were awkward for the first couple days but she said sorry so were cool now. She also told me she was lesbian which I kinda knew already and that's fine with me if it makes her happy

Then there is Justin, its very weird since we are like friends now. He and the bitch aka Sandy sit with us during lunch and we talk and text regularly now. I do now have a small crush on him but i'll never say anything about it, he has a girl and he probably wouldn't return the feelings

It was the end of the school day and Vanessa was at my locker already, after I got my stuff we walked out. She was quiet again and it was annoying me "Vanessa what's up with you?"

"What do you mean?" does she think i'm stupid?

"Your not telling me something, since last weekend you been acting weird. So what the hell is going on?" she got quiet again but looked like she was thinking hard

"Let's go to the park" she smiled and took of running in that direction, what the fuck? She knows I hate running but I chase after her anyway. Now if your a big girl running sucks, especially when you have a big chest and its even worst when you don't have a sports bra. After chasing her down two blocks we were finally at the park, she was catching her breath and so was I

"Now why would you run? We are both too out of shape for this" she shrugged and sat on a swing, I finally got my breath back and sat on the one next to hers. It was a nice silence for a moment but I messed it up

"Are you gonna tell me now?" I just need to know, whenever somethings wrong Vanessa always told me and if I needed someone she was there for me

"If I tell you please promise you won't be mad and we'll stay friends" It took me a moment but I nodded my head slowly

"I promise now tell me" she took a deep breath and sighed

"Marcus will be coming back, I don't know when but he'll be back in town" I felt my heart stop, why would he come back and how would she know? 

"I know what your thinking and I meant to tell you this when both of you were dating but he's family, my cousin. All the things that happened were my fault because I helped him. I knew how he was and I never told you because he said you were the one. Nicole i'm sorry please forgive me"

Flashback two years ago

I was sleeping in bed, I was until I felt a arm wrap around my body and pull me into a hard chest. As soon as I felt that I start kicking and was about to scream when a hand covered my mouth and I voice whispered in my ear "Chill its just me"

Marcus?

I pull myself out of his arms and turned around, there he was with a smile on his face usually that got to me but not now "Marcus! What the hell? How did you get in here?" I was beyond confused, the only person I gave a key to was Vanessa and I know she would't give it to him

"I wanted to sleep with my love" he pulled me into his arms again and made sure they were tight around me. I was scared, I still needed to know how he got in here, its the middle of the god damn night!

I was about to ask again but it was like he knew "Don't worry about it, just get some sleep"

The last thing I wanted to do was fall asleep with him now here so I tried staying awake but I was too sleepy and finally I crashed 

I never knew how he got in but this was just the beginning of all the shit he done

Flashback over

I couldn't do this, all of this was partly her fault. She suppose to be my best friend, she almost got me kill because he was family!

Taking a deep breath as I stand up and start to walk away, I could hear Vanessa calling me but I just kept going. I walked and walked till I got to my house. I ignored my dad as he asked questions but I just went to my room. I striped out my clothes and looked up at my ceiling

Fuck. My. Life

I needed someone to talk to, someone that can just listen. Can't be my dad because he doesn't need to know any of this and not Vanessa because I need time away from her. One name came to mind as I picked up my phone and dialed the name "Justin"
