A Unfortunate Meeting (Part 2)

Nicole's POV

You know those moments were you wish you could fly away from everything? Or maybe dig yourself a hole to hide inside? That's exactly what I want right now or at least something like it

I never wanted this to happen

Holding hands with the person I hate. I never use the word hate since it is a strong word but I hate him and everything about him. I don't even know why he still bothers me, we're not even dating anymore. But after that kiss in the bathroom I guess he still is

Vanessa looked the most confused by this and I agree with her, Justin looked between confused and pissed off, and Maya was smiling and I know it's because she thinks I found a guy now. We will never date again, the day we date is the day I die

Maya was the first one to walk over to us "Hi, you must be Nicole's new 'friend' she met. Probably why she took so long. Anyway I'm Maya" He shake Maya's hand and they start chatting like they new each other for years

I feel someone pull my hand and it's Vanessa, I was so happy she knows me so well. She was just about to pull me off when I feel a death grip on my other hand. This is the only reason we're holding hands in the first place. Vanessa shot him a look and he finally let go, thank you Vanessa. I look at my hand and it had marks where his fingers was, I'm dark skin and he was able to bruise my skin

When we are away from him Vanessa gives me a look and of course all the questions start "What was that? How did he even find you? Didn't you read my texts?"

"Yeah I read them but you see I got caught up" I gestured to Marcus, I would tell her about everything  that happened but later. I don't need anyone in my business 

"I see. I saw his little girlfriend in the mall, she's probably still in there now" Vanessa said as she rolled her eyes and started going on and on about how much she hated her

I look over to Maya, Justin, and Marcus. They were getting along fine for the most part considering Marcus and Justin never say anything to each others. I hear Maya saying goodbye and Marcus finally left all of us alone. I though he would never leave

The ride home was good for the most part, nobody too upset. But as I sat in the passenger seat Justin kept glancing at me over and over again, he looked worried about me but there is no way he would care and if anything it would be as a friend. He dropped us off but told me we need to talk, I couldn't help but feel nervous about his words

Instead of going home Vanessa came with me. I walk into my house and see my mom passed out, bottle in hand and slouching on the couch. Vanessa paid no mind to her since she was used to this and walked straight to my room texting. I remembered that I dropped my phone in the mall, damn it...someone has it by now

I paid for my own phone and that is hard to do when you barley got any money to spend. I walk up to my room and see Vanessa just standing there, looking at my bed

"What's wrong?"

"He was here, in the house recently"

I was confused until I see my bed, there was a bundle of red roses, a note, and my phone. I walk over to it slowly and pick up the note, my name written in cursive 

Nicole,

It makes me so happy to see you again, still young and very beautiful. Seeing you reminds me of all the times we been together and I miss that time. I need to see you again. Let's go out together for the day as friends and catch up on everything

Your Friend, Marcus

Silence filled the room after I finished reading the note. Vanessa looked scared and I feel the same way, he got into my house with no problem and wants to see me now. I pick up the roses and throw them away in a trash can with the note. I've moved on and I don't need him fucking up my life again

Never ever again

Marcus's POV

I'm just getting home, well temporary home while i'm here. I make my way up to my room and see Arial setting up Nicole's phone for me, I got her to connect it to my phone

She gives back my phone and looked annoyed "I have it so you will get every call, message, notification, anything her phone gets you will too. Also you can monitor and see what she uses her phone for. I better get paid extra for that"

"You will get paid once your work is finished"

She put away her computer and still looked irritated "Why do I have to act like your love sick hood rat? I'm more intelligent and beautiful then any of them will ever be"

"Because that's what I pay you to do" Before she could say anything else I go up to my room, I don't have time for her. The first thing I get is my laptop, after starting it up I see a bunch of security cameras I have set up in Nicole's house. Good, they all still work perfectly

The first thing I see is Nicole laying on her bed and no surprise that Vanessa is right there next to her

I didn't realize that I had just been sitting here staring at the screen directly at her, about a hour passed before I realized what I am doing

I shut the laptop, all I needed to see was her

Now that she knows we can get started

I know, I know, it took me awhile to update this for you guys but I do apologize for my lateness. I'm just starting my classes back up again and my transition from summer to school is hard. But now that it's over I can continue writing again. I'll make sure to give you guys at least one chapter a week, if you get two then it's a good week for me. So expect at least one chapter and if I don't then feel free to curse me out
