"Lily! Please! Just help me out here!" I groaned as we sat on our beds in the common room after we finished our homework. There was no way I could retaliate with Sirius always watching me! Even James, Remus, and Peter were always eyeing me and making sure I wasn't going to prank their best friend. For my next stunt, I just need someone to help be a distraction... Lily was the perfect candidate.

"No! I'm not going to do it!" Lily whined and crossed her arms. "If you get caught, they'll be after me too!"

"I won't get caught! Please Lil! Then I'll never ask you for help again!"

"Never?"

It was a hefty price... I'd be losing my best distraction and possible partner in crime... But Lily hated pranks anyways...

"Ugh, fine. So you'll do it?"

"Yes... But can I just distract Sirius? I don't want to interact with all of them!"

"No! Distract them all! Do whatever it takes! Nobody can be in that dorm while I'm in there or everything will be ruined!"

"Alright! Alright! Do you want me to go now... Or..." Lily said slowly, obviously trying to waste time and change my mind.

"Lily, stop stalling! Just go! I'll do it just after you leave and then you never need to talk to them again!" I demanded and slung my backpack over my shoulder.

"Okay... But you'll still owe me..." Lily muttered as she huffed out of the room, her red hair flaring out as she hopped down each step. She should be a great distraction for those four girl-crazy idiots.

I stepped quietly down the stairs and stopped at the bottom step, hiding behind the wall. The stairs to the boy's dormitories was only a few feet away, but if they saw me running up the stairs, it would be game over. Luckily, girls could enter the boys' dormitories and not the other way around. Once they found the nasty surprise I was leaving them, they'd probably want to hunt me down.

I listened intently and heard Lily's soft, laugh followed by a chorus of chortles. She was doing her job well enough... Just one step and I would be running up the stairs... Laughter broke out again and I took that as my chance to fly up the stairs.

"Which room... Which room..." I whispered as I peeked my head into the doors. "Aha!"

It was obvious this was the first years' dorm. This room was messier than the rest, with clothes, wrappers, and books strewn all over the ground. They'd only been there two days and the place is already a war zone! I spotted Sirius' jacket hanging next to the open window, still airing out. Throwing my bag onto someone's bed, I began my devious plan.

I had made and gathered about fifteen alarms and alarm clocks for my evil plan, all of them set or charmed to go off at three a.m. Quickly and stealthily, I hid the alarms all around their room: beneath pillows, in trunks on top of shelves, and one I even hid beneath a loose floorboard. Satisfied with my work and not wanting to be caught, I gathered up my bag and ran out of the room and down the stairs into the common room.

"There you are Lily! I was looking all over for you!" I called and walked across the room to the table where Lily was surrounded by Sirius, James, Remus, and Peter. She shot me a grateful look and began to sit up from the couch.

"Well boys, I must be going..." Lily smiled flirtatiously and tried to push through them.

"No! Stay a bit longer!" James laughed and pushed her back into the seat.

"Yes! And Lexi, join us!" Sirius grinned and patted the empty seat next to him. Lily shot me a pleading look, but Remus had already pushed me down into the chair. Sirius noticed my bag and eyed it suspiciously. "What's with the bag?"
