"No!" I about screamed except for the fact that we were in the library. "I'll ask you one more time! What is the Polyjuice Potion used for?!"

"Uhhhh... Turning invisible?" Sirius guessed for the third time, once again getting it wrong.

"No! The Polyjuice Potion is used to assume the identity of another person for a short amount of time!" I said, lightly pounding my fist on the table as if that would instill it in Sirius' brain.

"Shhhhh!" Then came the collective shush of the people in the library and the librarian. This wasn't the first time, over the last few weeks when I was tutoring Sirius in the library, Madam Pince threatened to throw us out every day.

"You better get this one..." I whispered, trying to keep my voice down. "What is the name for the potion nicknamed liquid luck?"

"Oh! Felix Felicis!" Sirius exclaimed, finally getting one right. He beamed at me like he just won the Quidditch World Cup or something.

"Finally... So that's about a one out of fifty," I said and flipped though my potions book, looking for a good question. After the few weeks of tutoring, Sirius was still getting every question wrong.

The exams were only in a week, and Sirius still couldn't tell you how to make a cure for boils! And after every tutoring session, we both left frustrated and angrier than before. The awkwardness from the last few weeks vanished, but it was replaced by a weird teacher student relationship.

"Can we stop?" Sirius groaned. "My head hurts and it's already nine o'clock."

Glancing up at the clock above Madam Pince, I saw it really was quarter to nine. We had been studying for almost four hours!

"Fine..." I sighed and flipped through the book for an easy question, so we could both leave. "What is dittany used for?"

"Healing, right?" Sirius guessed, and I nodded with a grin. Quickly, I began packing up my things and getting ready to leave. "Say, doesn't Remus use dittany for something?"

"Huh?" I stopped dead in my tracks and watched Sirius carefully. It was a full moon that night, and I knew when I returned to the common room, Remus would be gone.

"Dittany. Remus uses it on those scratches he gets."

"What are you talking about?" I said coolly, trying to keep my voice monotone.

"Every time he goes home to see his mum... He comes back like he was in a fight..." Sirius watched me. Those grey eyes seemed to bore right into my mind, extracting every secret and deciphering the reason why Remus would disappear.

"It's just his cat," I explained and averted my eyes from his calculating glance.

"I'm sure I'll find him in the hospital wing tomorrow, he left for home today," Sirius noted and continued to watch me, as if begging me to tell him what was going on. "Please Lexi, you know something, just tell me. Stop lying! He's my friend too."

"I'm telling you the truth!" I breathed and began to storm out of the library. Just before I stepped out into the corridor, I whirled around to spit a final remark at him.

"Even if I did know something, I'd never tell you! We're not even friends!"

"I hate Sirius Black," I groaned as I slumped onto the couch between Peter and James. Over the last month, I began to tolerate them. Now, you might even consider us friends.

"What happened? Finally figured out Sirius is too dimwitted to teach?" James scoffed jokingly.

"Where is Sirius?" Peter asked before a look of horror crossed his pointed face. "You didn't kill him, did you?!"
