Surprisingly, James and Sirius seemed to spend more time planning our last day at Hogwarts than they did studying for their N.E.W.T.s. While Remus and Peter slept, James and Sirius discussed tactics and wrote down the plan late into the night. I, on the other hand, was busy every night planning our wedding. When they finally shared their idea, we were all excited. James maintained we would go down in Hogwarts history after our final prank.

The N.E.W.T.s, the exams that defined our futures, were surprisingly easy for me, James and Sirius blew them off, Remus, Lily, and Marlene were worried about their scores, but we knew they did fine, and Peter thought he failed. I truly believe he did. After our N.E.W.T.s were over, we spent even more time planning and perfecting the plan. We realized we could really use the assistance of a certain red-headed witch to execute the plan.

"Lily," I purred. "Please join us! You may not be a Marauder, but we would love for you to join us in this last prank. You're dating a Marauder so that practically makes you one of us!"

Lily peered over the top of the bridal magazine she was reading with shining green eyes.

"Have you gone mad? No!" Lily firmly insisted. Sighing, I glanced at my feet resting on the table. Lily was still too much of a rule-follower to join us on our last hurrah.

"Marlene is coming," I pressed. A small smile formed on Lily's lips. Although she didn't want to help us with the prank, I knew she was just as excited as everyone to see how it would all play out. For our last day at Hogwarts, the Marauders had to go out with a bang.

"I don't want to participate," Lily refused. "However, if I am on my Head Girl duties while the setup for this prank occurs, I might be able to turn the other way."

I slyly smiled and turned my attention back to my guest list, where I was deciding if I should invite the whole Weasley family. As I scrawled Mr. and Mrs. plus family on the sheet in ink, I heard Lily slam her magazine shut and throw it on the pile at my feet. She had many things circled on the pages in red. Lily took her maid of honor duties seriously and wanted to help my big day be the best possible.

"And I will alert Peeves about your prank, if you think it will help you. He's always listened to me."

I smiled as Lily walked out of the tower to patrol the corridors for any students out after curfew. She still wouldn't completely assist us, but some of James' impish tendencies were rubbing off on her.

When I was five and Felix was ten, we thought it would be a good idea to ride brooms around the house. I never forgot the look of fury on my mother's face as we played catch with an old Quaffle in the house and smashed a window. She told us if she ever caught either one of us playing Quidditch or even riding broomsticks indoors ever again, she would confiscate our brooms and make us stay with our ancient, widowed, Muggle great aunt for a week. Every time we visited Aunt Marcella Stryker, she tried to "force the magic" out of us. She thought it was disgusting and her nephew married a witch. In a way, she reminded me of Walburga Black.

Great Aunt Marcella passed away five years after mum threatened us. I had no idea what mum would do when she found out about our final prank on the school, which included both forbidden acts.

I started flying my broom lazily around in circles outside of the Great Hall, flicking the dust off the plume on a suit of armor every time my fingers grazed it. Sirius struggled to keep a Bludger contained under one arm and a Snitch in his palm. James was trying to give Peter a quick broom lesson because the nervous, fidgety boy forgot how to properly ride a broom and kept falling off. Marlene sat on top of multiple boxes of fireworks, watching the amusing scene.
