(Back to Lexi P.O.V.)

"No, I think Gryffindor is going to win!" I argued playfully with Marlene. The Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff Quidditch match was the next day, and she was insistent that her team was going to win.

"Have you seen our Keeper?!" she defended, a smirk on her face. "He's the best in the school!"

"Have you seen our Keeper?!" I retorted. "Robert is definitely better."

"Oh, don't mind her Marlene." Lily rolled her eyes. After I introduced them back in January, the two had been inseparable. "She's just biased because she loves our Keeper."

"I do not!" I said quickly, thinking about the last time I talked to Robert. Surprisingly, he would talk to me every now and then in the common room or at meals, nothing much, just small talk. "He's really nice! We're friends!"

"Uh huh, that's what they all say!" Marlene laughed, her brown eyes glittering. "But Keepers aside, Hufflepuff has the better team! We have three great Chasers!"

"We have a Potter." I chuckled, making Marlene laugh and Lily roll her eyes. "What?! Prongs is honestly a great chaser!"

"It's true," Lily admitted. "As much as I hate to say this, Potter is a pretty good chaser... Don't tell him I said that. But Lexi, why do you call him Prongs?"

"Inside joke."

"Oh, okay..." Marlene said and turned back to her Herbology assignment. My homework was already done, but it wasn't done very well. My grades were beginning to slip now that I was putting three hours aside each night to try to illegally become an Animagus, speaking of which, we were still stuck on step one.

"Hey Lexi, it's almost five, don't you have to-" Lily stopped her question as someone walked behind me, casting a shadow on the table. "Oh, hi..."

"Hey," a deep voice replied. I turned around and saw Robert Wood standing behind me, a smile on his face. "Hey Lexi."

"Hi Robert!" I replied sweetly, trying not to blush so I could prove Lily wrong that I didn't fancy him. He looked kind of nervous, the way he was rubbing his neck and shuffling on his feet.

"So, you know... Tomorrow is the Quidditch match against Hufflepuff..." Robert muttered, averting his brown eyes to anywhere except my own eyes. "And I was wondering... If you'd like to... Wear my jacket again... You know, to support the team!"

"Oh, just the team?" I teased, making him blush. "It's not just to support you...?"

"N-No! I mean... Kinda?" Robert stammered, turning even redder. At his flustered expression, I started to blush too. I mean, who wouldn't?! He was adorable! I shook my head, trying to convince myself I didn't fancy him

"I'd love to." I agreed, twirling a piece of my dark hair around my finger while looking a way so he didn't see the blush still on my cheeks.

"Really?! Awesome!" Robert beamed and pulled out the familiar red and gold jacket he had been hiding behind his back. He handed it to me carefully, his fingers lingering on mine for a few moments before he let go.

"So... I'll see you around?" he asked kind of hopefully.

"Yeah, see ya!"

Dreamily, I watched him walk out of the library until Lily snapped her fingers under my nose.

"So... You don't fancy him, huh?" Lily teased, poking me in the arm. She shared a knowing look with Marlene.

"Maybe she doesn't, but he definitely fancies her!" Marlene laughed.
