Lazily, I stared around the room of requirement at my four friends. Remus was working with the frustrating Peter, who was a bit behind James, Sirius, and I in his Animagi training. Now that Sirius and I weren't devoting all of our time to practicing for Quidditch, Remus insisted on spending all of our free time working towards becoming Animagi.

While Remus tore his hair out over Peter, I sat comfortably in the plush armchair, chewing about five pieces of Drooble's Best Blowing Gum at once and watching the amusing sight. James and Sirius were standing over a piece of parchment in the corner, apparently trying to charm it for some sort of prank on Snape.

"I've got it!" James exclaimed triumphantly and stepped back from the table. "Now we just need some statements from each of us to insult Snape."

"I've got one!" I shouted after blowing a large pink bubble. "Have it say something about how he's an insolent, greasy prat."

"Harsh Vix! I thought just idiot would be perfect!" Sirius chuckled and tapped the parchment with his wand.

"From me, something about his abnormally large nose," Remus called from his corner where he was still trying to force Peter to grow back to his regular size. Peter somehow managed to get stuck at rat size... Again. I started cracking up at the though of Snape's rather large, hooked nose.

"Slime-ball who should wash his hair!" Peter squeaked, making me nearly choke on my gum from laughing. Who knew insulting your enemies is also a great way to kill time?!

"I need something good..." James trailed off, deep in thought. "Ugly git sounds most appropriate... Now... I just need some more time to figure out just how to cast this charm and we will kindly give our dear friend Snivellus a new piece of parchment..."

"So guys," Remus sighed after giving up with helping miniature Peter, we're probably just going to have to take him to Madam Pomfrey... For like the third time since school started a three weeks ago. "We're all going to Hogsmeade together tomorrow, right?"

The bubble I was blowing popped with a loud snap. I'd forgotten all about the Hogsmeade visit! And I'd been looking forward to it because I was supposed to be going on a 'date' with Robert!

"Uh, actually, I can't," I whispered. All four of the boys raised their eyebrows at me. "I'm going with someone else..."

"I see... Does this someone happen to be a guy who asked you on a date?" James pried, leaning his head on his hands and batting his eyelashes innocently. "A certain someone on our quidditch team?"

"Oh?" Remus cut in, shooting me an inquisitive look. Four pairs of eyes stared me down and I shrunk into my chair, wanting to disappear.

"Well, it may not be a date..." I mumbled and James rolled his eyes at me. "But yes, I am going to Hogsmeade with Robert tomorrow."

"Wood?" Sirius sneered. "You're blowing us off for Wood."

"Yes!" I replied angrily, glaring at him. What's with him and Robert?! Robert's always been nothing but nice to him! "What's your problem anyways Padfoot?!"

"Well, I don't think it's fair that you get to ditch us to go run around with your boyfriend when I couldn't ask a girl to come with me to Hogsmeade!" Sirius hissed, shooting James an angry look. "Prongs told me it was just going to be the Marauders in Hogsmeade tomorrow, so he wouldn't let me ask Lina Kinner to go out with me!"
