My arms were wrapped around Sam's warm torso, our bodies transfer heat to one another. I was shaking like a leaf in that new apartment without any functioning heating. Well, the heating Sam nor I could figure out how to use.

Today, we'd planned to go shopping for tons of new furniture basics for the house so that it didn't seem completely neglected. Currently, we were dealing with a mattress in the middle of the living room and Sam's laptop as our TV, sitting on a spare box we'd found after emptying our clothes into freshly made piles.

I completely forgot the struggle of moving. As much as mam and dad reminded me of it, I was so determined to move on with Sam that I didn't think of the rest of it all. Especially considering the fact he was away in two days to be on the Graham Norton Show. And, as ever, I decided to be the supportive girlfriend and spend those few days with him.

"Good morning, my beautiful boyfriend." I greeted as he began to squirm at my movement. My lips pressed a peck on his lips as I stood to open the curtains, "Furniture shop today. Up you get."

He groaned, forcing his head back into his pillow, "Come back to bed." his voice was raspy with sleep.

I just chuckled and grabbed him and I a glass of water to freshen our voices up. Sam took his from my hands with glee as he chugged down more than half of the cup, before the back of his hand wiped the remanence from his upper lip, then pouted them for me to join him in bed. And I did, pulling out my phone and looking at the itinerary I made a few days ago.

• Put clothes in room
• Bring boxes from car up
• Ikea (sofa, bed, two wardrobes, two bedside cabinets, desk, desk chair, end table, tv stand)
• Asda (microwave, kettle, toaster, blender, mini fridge, vases, cups, plates, cutlery, pans, bowls)
• MATTRESS!
• Assemble furniture (bed and sofa)
• Date night!

I smiled at my unnatural organisation and began to get myself ready, scraping my hair into its normal messy bun. Well, it was normal nowadays, considering the constant moving of things and the sweating body that came alongside it.

"Let's hurry up and get this furniture, eh?" I encouraged, pulling myself from the comfort of the mattress.

"I say we break the bed in. Just an idea though." Sam suggested, shrugging his shoulders as he put his weight on his elbows.

"I wouldn't disagree, Fender." I smiled, heading towards the bathroom.

Words can't describe how excited I was when I pulled up to Ikea. This was just the future I'd hoped for. A year ago, I wouldn't have seen myself going shopping with anyone, let alone Sam. I'd be out in the town at the crack of dawn, waking up on a bench in a park miles away from home. I'd have been stretching my aching back, soothing the bones and feeling the sudden comfort of a pounding hangover. Without the likes of Sam and Rylee, I don't reckon I'd be breathing right now. And if I was, it'd be through an oxygen tank as my liver rapidly decayed.

Sam's hand sat on the small of my back, guiding me towards the group of trolleys outside as I grabbed one. His large and towering body came behind mine, also holding onto the handles of the trolley as we pushed in harmony. The smell of his cologne was luxurious and the feeling of his warm body against mine was soothing, especially as the facility was overpopulated.

"Eves, we don't need everything we see." he groaned as I approached a bunch of fancy-shaped mirrors and decorations for my desk.

"Uh huh we do." I responded, grabbing a mirror and delicately placing it into the trolley, "You still have that sheet with all the furniture on?"

His hand entered his pocket and whipped out a piece of paper and a petite pencil alongside it, "I do."

"Good, because I like the look of that desk and that chair." I explained as Sam pulled an unsatisfied face, "You don't?"
