Shambles To a Different World (y/n & Trafalgar D Water Law)

Chapter 29: I'm Here.

Y/n's POV

As Law and I drank more the more we were able to let loose, I had confidence in my boyfriend and he did to me as well. we chatted and attempted to make some small talk with some of the other guests.

I saw Rin behind another girl wanting to talk to Law, I knew she had something up her sleeve and I was feeling more and more self-conscious till I saw her clasp her arms around his neck and pull him close. My eyes widened as I excused myself from my own conversation and went to the restroom to collect myself. 'What the hell was that? And why the hell did I just run away?'

I look at my reflection in the washroom. eyes panicked tear filled eyes about to fall threatening my eyeliner from smudging. "Damn it." I smack my hand on the marble sink as I get a tissue and carefully wipe the tears away.

I go inside one of the stalls to actually relieve myself till I hear the bathroom door smack open. "That Dick!" it was a familiar voice, but I could not pinpoint it for the life of me. "I throw myself at him, basically pouncing on him and he scoffs and pushes me aside? What the hell did that bitch do to get a hot guy like him anyway?" She's obviously in a very private yet public call. Great this has got to be some teen flick.

I peek open the stall door to see Rin on her phone in one hand and pulling up her skimpy little tube dress in the other. She looks so angry... I quietly close the stall door again and sit here till she's finished her rant. 'Thank god Law didn't entertain her silly advances. That's my Law.' I stupidly smile at myself and when I hear her leave I slowly open the stall door and get the hell out of the washroom as quick as I could.

While running I feel a hand on my waist pull me in a small smile spreads on my face but when I look up I see the grinning face of my boss Mr. Akainu 'fuck, fuck, fuck' I was so fuckin fucked.

"What a beautifully lost Alice. did you want the Mad Hatter to lead you somewhere more fun?" did he really just reference the Alice and Wonderland to try and BED ME? What a disgusting man!

"Ugh, no thank you Mr. Akainu. But I think Rin would die for an opportunity with you Sir." I know it's not very team friendly of me but she did try and steal my boyfriend right in front of me.

"Miss. Rin huh, I'll keep that in mind After our fun." He pulled me closer it felt gross and wrong. This was so... so wrong.

I pushed away trying to excuse myself again but he gripped my arm tight. So tight that it hurt. It hurts so much.

"Law!" I cried "Law HELP!" At this point tears were pouring out of me I had no control anymore and Mr. Akainu was overpowering me. all I could think about was Law. he was supposed to protect me, I wonder where he is now. I shut my eyes because of the burn of my own tears.

Till I saw blue and then poof. I was somewhere else.

No One's POV

"Law!" Y/n cried "Law HELP!" Law with panicked eyes scans the room only to see his girlfriend being dragged by the arm by a pissed-off-looking Mr. Akainu "Shit. ROOM!"

"Shambles!" Law takes Y/n's place as he pulls out his sword Kikoku and swiftly places it near Mr. Akainu's neck "I've given you plenty of warnings Akainu-ya."

Mr. Akainu's eyes widened in fear as he felt the cold steel of Law's sword against his neck. The room fell into a hushed silence, with all eyes on the tense confrontation unfolding before them.

Law's voice was low and filled with a dangerous edge as he continued, his grip on the sword tightening. "You will get your grimy hands and dirty thoughts about Y/n go immediately and leave her the fuck alone. If you ever dare to lay a hand on her again or harass her in any way, I won't hesitate to end you."

Y/n, who had been trembling in fear from where Law previously was, felt a sense of relief wash over her as Law's protective presence engulfed her. She ran to his arms, seeking solace and safety in his warmth.

Mr. Akainu, feeling the weight of Law's threat, released his grip on now Law's other arm, his face pale with fear. He stumbled back, his voice shaking as he stammered out an apology. "I-I'm sorry, Sir. Law. I didn't mean any harm. It was just a friendly joke, you know?"

Law's eyes narrowed, his voice laced with an icy calmness. "There are no jokes when it comes to Y/n's safety and well-being. Consider yourself lucky that I'm not taking further action. Now, leave."

Mr. Akainu quickly scurried away, his tail between his legs, leaving Y/n and Law alone in the aftermath of the confrontation. The tension in the room slowly dissipated, and the guests began to resume their conversations, though with a newfound wariness.

Y/n clung to Law, her body trembling with a mix of fear and relief. Tears streamed down her face, a mixture of the fear she had just experienced and the overwhelming emotions of the night.

Law held her tightly, his arms wrapped protectively around her. "No more crying, Y/n. I'm here. I won't let anyone harm you."

Y/n looked up at Law, her eyes filled with gratitude and vulnerability. "Thank you, Law. I don't know what I would have done without you. You saved me."

Law brushed away her tears gently, his touch soothing and comforting. "You don't have to thank me, Y/n. Protecting you is my priority. I won't let anyone hurt you, not now, not ever."

As Y/n continued to cry in Law's arms, he held her close, providing the comfort and reassurance she desperately needed.
