I took a sip of my champagne and gladly watched the newlyweds, Eleanor and her husband Theodore, slow-dancing on the stage. They looked so beautiful together and happy to be in each other's arms. It made me think of the special moment Alessandro and I could have in the future.

Soon, couples joined them on the dancefloor.

"Care to join me?" A familiar voice spoke in my ear. I turned and met Alessandro's ocean blue eyes. I smiled sheepishly and nodded.

We danced to a few songs before deciding to return back to our seats to have some dessert. As we made our way back, someone bumped into me.

My eyes filled with rage when I realized that it was Beatrice.

Not only had she bumped into me but she managed to get chocolate cake all over my dress. I've never felt so enraged before especially knowing that this dress costed me a fortune to get.

Present Moment:

I sat in my office with mum and Kate, drinking coffee. Eleanor was on FaceTime, applying light makeup. She was on her honeymoon.

"That girl is becoming a pain the arse." Eleanor rolled her eyes.

"Someone needs to ban her from royal events and palace grounds. England in it's entirety." Kate sighed. "If I were there, I'm afraid I would not hold back." She admitted.

She missed Eleanor's wedding because she had to attend an important business function with her father in New York. Something about a Donato charity event and her father was business partners with the Donato's.

I felt my blood boil as I remembered how Beatrice tried to ruin my dress at Eleanor's wedding. The day started off so beautifully until she had to ruin.

Two Days Earlier:

"Ready?" Alessandro smirked at me and I nodded shyly.

A guard opened the car door for me. Alessandro walked around and held his hand out for me to hold. My fingers intertwined with his as we walked in the chapel. Eleanor's wedding was being televised worldwide. We walked in behind the King and Queen and sat where the Royal family usually sat for events.

I read through the program to keep myself busy. I sat next to Alexandra which I was happy about. We'd gotten closer over the past two weeks especially with the event planning.

"You look very nice today, Gia." She gave me a friendly smile.

"Thank you." I muttered, smiling back at her.

The music started playing signaling that the bride has arrived. Theodore looked nervous to see his soon-to-be wife walking down the aisle. Next to him, stood Rafael. They were good friends according to Rafael.

The whole ceremony was truly beautiful. It's always so beautiful seeing two people proclaim their love for each other. The couple soon kissed one another after the priest gave them permission to do so. The room sounded with a round of a applause and the choir began singing.

My eyes met Alessandro's warm gaze, making me blush. Perhaps I wasn't the only one envisioning us getting married.

The procession started again. We walked closely behind the King and Queen and the rest of the royals behind us.

The wedding reception soon began. The bride and the groom walked in holding hands. We all cheered for them as they took the stage to do their first dance together as newlyweds.

Soon, couples joined them on the dancefloor.

That's when Alessandro asked me to dance with him.

"Care to join me?" His gorgeous blue eyes stared at into mine, his hand extended. I grabbed his hand and he intertwined our fingers.
