"Gia." He called out.
I gave him a small smile.
"Hey." I answered.
He scratched the back of his neck nervously. "You alright?"
I nodded. "I'm well thanks and you?"
"Good thanks. It's been a while since I've seen you. How's everything?"
"Business has been good so I guess everything is great. How are things on your side?" I asked.
He shrugged. "Can't complain."
He let out a sigh. "I know things ended up a bit abruptly between us. I want to let you know that I forgive you for everything. I know you didn't have ill intentions."
I flashed him a friendly smile. "Thank you. I'm glad we can squash it and move on."
"I also know that you and Alessandro are together now. I want you to be happy. Don't feel guilty or anything in front of me. I'll support you guys no matter what." He gave me a small smile.
"Thank you." I said. We hugged each other before parting ways.
"What took you so long?" Alessandro glared at me when I returned.
I contemplated on whether I should tell him I met Rafael or lie to him. I decided to tell the truth.
"I'm glad you two made up." He admitted.
I was surprised by his calm demeanor.
"You're not mad or anything?"
He shook his head. "I already have you. I don't have any reason to be intimated."
I gave him a light punch on the arm.
"I'm not an objective, people's prince. I'm your girlfriend." I chuckled.
He threw his head back dramatically with a sigh. "It feels so good to hear you say that."
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes playfully. "I've got a meeting to attend.
"Gia, wait." He grabbed my wrist and I stopped in my tracks.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Let me fetch you from work?"
"I've got a sleepover with Kate today. We're having a movie marathon." I frowned.
He rolled his eyes. "I can barely get ahold of you. You're always so busy. When will you prioritize our relationship?"
"I just had lunch with you." I stared at him, at the glimmer in his blue eyes.
"That's not enough. You only give me half an hour of your day and you call that prioritizing our relationship?"
I sighed. "I'll try my best."
I got up and gave him a passionate kiss before leaving. He looked a bit flustered when I left him outside. Looks like someone will need a cold shower.
