GIA'S POV

"Why don't you sleepover? I mean don't you think it's a waste of money to stay at a hotel?" Kate said. We were sitting at the dining table and we had just eaten dinner.

I nodded. "Yeah, I'll sleepover. I know we've been friends this whole time but now I know we're sisters. I want to get to know each other as sisters."

She smiled widely. "Me too."

"I just have to let Alessandro know. He's probably anxious to hear how it went."

"Don't tell him we're sisters. I want to see his face when he finds out." She chuckled.

"He'll be bewildered but happy for us."

We heard footsteps approaching and dad walked in the dining room.

"How are my girls doing?" He asked giving both of us a kiss on our foreheads.

"All good. Just catching her up on everything." Kate replied.

His rested on me and he flashed me a warm smile. "When are you leaving Manchester?"

I sighed. "I'm actually meant to leave tomorrow. I have an event planning business and I'm always busy."

"Why don't you stay longer? I'll go back to London and take care of everything. Besides, Sandra is also there." Kate suggested.

"I know, I just feel responsible." I replied.

"Hmm, that's impressive. Kate told me that she has a friend who she works with. Little did I know it's you." He shook his head in disbelief.

"Everything just turned out to be better I could've ever imagined."

"Why don't you stay longer. Like Kate said, she'll take care of everything."

Kate nodded. "You two should catchup. I'm sure dad has a lot to tell you."

"Okay, okay. I'll stay." A smiled crept its way to my face.

I spoke to mum informing her about everything. She was shocked to learn that my biological parents are famous but what shocked her most was learning about Kate.

Overall, she was happy and expressed how she'd love to meet dad some day

I dialed Alessandro's number and he answered it immediately.

"Good heavens, Gia I was worried. How did it go?" He asked, sounding anxious to hear about it.

I told him everything, obviously leaving out the fact that Kate is my sister. I also wanted to see his reaction.

"So it turns out your parents are actually famous?" He paused. "I think your mother has designed a few of my mother's dresses."

"Really?" I said in disbelief.

"A small world, huh?"

I nodded. "I'm just glad to have you by my side in all this."

"You've got me, princess."

"So, I've decided to stay here a bit longer and I'll be sleeping over." I told him.

"That's okay, princess. I understand. Take as much time as you need."

"Are you going back to London tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yes, I've got some royal engagements on Monday. I would've rather stayed here with you but duty calls."

"No, I understand too."

"I'm thinking why don't we take a summer vacation in two weeks?"

I smiled liking the idea. "Where to?"
