ALESSANDRO'S POV
"Congratulate Romeo for his new win. He played excellently." I told a good friend of mine, Ace Donato.
His parents were good friends of mum and dad and soon Ace and I became friends.
"Yes, I will. You should attend the finals. It will be in Istanbul." He replied.
I nodded and took a sip of my whiskey. I glanced around looking for Gia because it had been quite a while since she left my side. My eyes landed on her, and a smile appearing on my face.
I frowned when I realised she was talking to a guy. She kept giggling at whatever he was saying and he was smiling at her adoringly. He even had the nerve to push a strand of her hair behind her ear. My blood boiled and I hands balled into fists. I put my glass down on the table and I approached them in long strides.
"What's going on here?" I questioned Gia, feeling enraged that she was allowing this guy to flirt with her.
I narrowed my eyes at him. My hand curled around her waist, protectively and I pulled her closer to me to send a clear message to him. He looked between us and seemed surprised.
"Hi, I'm Zayn Forbes. You must be Prince Alessandro?" He offered his hand but I hesitated before shaking it.
"This is a good friend of mine from college. Zayn, this is Alessandro, my boyfriend." Gia introduced us. He had a disappointed look but he quickly covered it with a smile.
"You sure are lucky to have this beautiful woman next to you. Take care of her." He told me.
My jaw ticked. "Yeah, I will. She's a gem that I'll treasure forever." I scowled at him.
"It was really nice seeing you, Gia. I'll hit you up to catch up for coffee." He said before leaving.
As soon as he left I faced her. "You won't go and meet him right?"
She furrowed her eyebrows. "He's just a friend from college. I dont think there's any need to be jealous of him, I'm already yours." She argued.
I felt hurt by her comment. My lips pinched in a thin line and I leaned forward leaving a small gap between us. "I'm not jealous. I know he likes you and that makes me uncomfortable."
She shook her head. "Don't worry, I'm already yours peoples prince."
She stood on her tippy toes and flung her arms around me before latching her lips onto mine. I deepened the kiss, enjoying the feel of her soft, plump ones against mine.
"You're mine and no one elses." I said to her once we pulled away.
She chuckled." Possessive, aren't we?" She replied and we both laughed.
***
The next day, I was taking Gia on my yacht for a date then later on we were going to have a date at one of my favourite restaurants in Saint Tropez. Rafael stayed home to recover from his hangover and Kate had a date with Leonardo, leaving Gia and I alone.
I waited for her downstairs by the foyer. She came out the elevator wearing a see through white coverup and a black bikini inside. I quickly scanned her body before meeting her gorgeous, mesmerizing eyes. I felt my heart rate increase at the sight of her and I couldn't wait to give her a hug and a kiss.
"Hey." She said, giving me a shy smile.
I embraced her, enjoying her scent of strawberries. "You look amazing." I told her. "Thanks." She answered.
"Where are we going?" Her innocent eyes met mine.
"I'm taking you shopping first then to my yacht." I replied and she narrowed her eyes at me.
