I got up from my desk and grabbed my bag. I asked Kate if she wanted to go grab some coffee. She worked with me in my company and she's my best friend. I met her when I was in my senior year in college. She had just started college and I was her mentor. We eventually became best friends and ever since she's been like a sister to me. Some people would even say we look alike and confuse us as sisters.

She came from well-known, wealthy family. Her mother was a famous fashion designer for the clothing brand Verde and her dad is a well-known multi-billionaire. I've never met them before because they live in Manchester. Unfortunately, her mother passed on two years ago, leaving her alone with her younger brother, Enzo, and dad.

I've always been there for Kate and vice versa. She couldn't make it to the King's Garden Party because she had a stomach bug. We were in a small office I was renting in the meantime. It helped a lot because we got a lot of work done.

"You go on, Gia. I'll stay behind and do some work." She assured me with a small smile.

I nodded and went to a nearby coffee shop. They're coffee was simply exquisite. I've never had coffee like theirs. It was very strong which was ironically addicting. They recently opened up and weren't as popular as yet. I dread the day they become popular. I know for a fact that there'll be a long cue everyday.

I was about to open the coffee shop glass door when the door opened, hitting me in the face. I winced and held my forehead in pain.

"Bloody hell." I murmured to myself.

"Sorry about that. Are you alright?" I heard a deep voice.

I opened my eyes and looked at the hand that gently touched my shoulders before glancing up at the tall, well- muscled man in front of me. My breath caught in my throat when I met his deep, alluring blue eyes. They had genuine concern as flickered at me. He was wearing a black shirt with blue denim jeans and a black cap. His black hair peeked out from under his cap and he had  a stubble making him look attractive.

"Are you okay?" He asked again and I nodded still feeling starstruck by him. "Watch where you're going." He said with a stern expression.

He quickly walked away and the spot where his hand touched suddenly felt cold. I turned around and watched him round the corner. Just great!

Another missed opportunity all because I froze like a statue unable to speak. I promised myself I'd jump out of my comfort zone if I ever spoke to someone who I found attractive. I'm twenty-four years and I'm still a virgin. I haven't even had a boyfriend. The closest I ever got to a boy was when I kissed my childhood bestfriend at my sixteenth birthday party but he said it was a mistake.

After placing my order, my phone began ringing.

It was an unknown caller. I hesitated before answering.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Gia, at last you answered. It's Rafael."

I stopped breathing for a second before composing myself again. I never thought he would call but I guess I was wrong.

"Gia? You still there?" His voice sounded through the phone.

I shook my head to snap out of the trance I was in. "Uh -yes sorry."

"Glad. I wanted to find out if you can still help me plan my birthday party. It's in two weeks. I don't want anyone else to do it except you."

My heart fluttered and I couldn't but smile at the thought of planning his birthday party. It would be good for my business and I'd get more customers..

"Thank you so much, your highness. Yes, I was going to call and confirm that I'll be able to do it."

"Ah - lovely. And don't forget it's Rafael." He responded.
