My mouth hung open. "I'm sorry but I don't understand."

"It's okay. I know it's all been a bit much to take in." He pulled out a box from his drawer. "This has all the letters she wrote out to you for you to read one day."

I grabbed the box with slightly shaky hands. "Thank you."

"Now, sweetheart." He began, meeting my eyes. "Your mom was famous and now that you're here it will be difficult to hide you. The media will find out about you but we'll try to keep it controlled."

I felt nervous about telling him that I was already in the media since I was dating Alessandro.

"My team is going go issue out a statement." He said.

The room became silent as I tried to process everything.

"Are you okay?" Concern filled his expression.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and nodded.

"Look, I know it's a lot to take in but you've got me. You've got Kate too and your brother Enzo who'll you soon meet."

I let out a shaky breath I didn't even know I was holding. I frowned when I remembered I had a brother too. Kate told me she had a brother and I've seen in pictures.

"Where is Enzo?" I asked.

"He's goes to Harvard University but he'll be home for the summer holidays in two weeks." He answered. "He'll be very happy to see you." His eyes glimmered with excitement. I nodded with a small smile.

"So, all this gets handed to me... now?"

He nodded. "Your mother also stated that you can choose whether or not you want to have the shares. It's all entirely up to you."

"Okay, I understand. I think I just need sometime to process this." I admitted.

He gave me a sad smile. "You are free to go now. I was thinking why don't we do something fun together?"

"Yeah, sure. What do you have in my mind?"

"We can do anything, really. Whatever you want to do."

"Okay, maybe we can go out for lunch?" I suggested.

"Sounds good."

I contemplated on whether I should tell him about Alessandro or not. I ended up deciding to tell him. The sooner he knew, the better.

"Uh - I have something to tell you." I started.

He looked curious. "Go on."

"I'm in a relationship with -"

A knock on the door cut me off. The door opened revealing Maeve, the housekeeper.

"Come in."

"Sorry but there's a man looking for Ms. Gianna. It is his royal highness, Prince Alessandro." She said almost panicking.

Dad looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Can I explain later?" I asked and he nodded.

I left the office with him following close behind me. At the entrance, Alessandro stood with his hands in his pockets. He casually dressed in blue jeans and a black tee. He smiled when he saw me.

I rushed to him and he opened his arms for me. "I missed you."

"I missed you too, princess." He said. His earthy scent filled my nostrils making me melt into his arms.

Dad cleared his throat, grabbing our attention. He stood with his arms crossed and a stern face. I never realized how intimidating he actually looked when he wasn't smiling.
