Rody turned, cracking his back as he turned the lights off to the janitors closet. He shut the door and turned around only to be face to face with Vincent. He let out a yelp. Catching another employee's attention on the way out. The other employee just shrugged and left. Rody placed his hand over his heart. "Jesus christ Vince you scared me." Rody replied before noticing a to-go box in Vincent's hand. "Leftovers remember? You talked about not eating well at home, so here's some food." Rody took the box. He looked back up at Vincent who was not doing well at hiding the tint of pink spread across his face. "Thanks Vince." Rody said, giving him another smile. "One more thing." Vincent said as he handed Rody a slip of paper. Rody took it. Curious as to what it was. He knew it wasn't his paycheck, he didn't get that for another few days. Looking down was a group of numbers, alongside Vincent's name. "In case you need to call for that thing again." Vincent explained. Rody gave another smile. Before quickly engulfing Vincent in a hug. He felt warm on the inside, and he didn't know why. When he felt Vincent's arms also wrap around him he swore he turned redder than a tomato. "Okay, okay, now I have to go to orchestra practice." Vincent said as the two parted. Then Rody was reminded. "Oh shit I got practice too." Rody exclaimed as he dashed out, nearly dropping his food. "Bye Vince, Thanks for the food, I... I appreciate it." Rody shouted before rushing over to his bike. Pedaling as fast as he could with one arm on the handle. He should save up for a bag to make carrying leftovers easier. No that he thought about it, since he didn't have to pour his finances into Manon he could pour them into other things. Then the thought of Manon entered his brain. It felt odd that before the party, and even today Manon hadn't invaded his head. If anything his thoughts were filled with someone else. He quickly chased them out of his head. Ne needed to focus on getting home, and to Leo and Mathew's house for practice. He quickly dashed inside. Locking his door and changing out of his uniform, and into his casual clothes of jeans, a long sleeved shirt, and a flannel over it. Then his stomach growled. He looked back at the to-go box in front of him. Without a second thought he pulled a fork out from the dirty dishes piled in his sink. He turned the water on and did his best to rub off the sauce that still stained the fork. Getting a good chunk off and calling it good before dashing over to the to-go box. He popped it open. Inside were green onion spring rolls. He stabbed his fork into it pulling out a bite and shoving it in his mouth. The temperature was a little cold, but that's what he expected, but that didn't stop the flavor from melting off of his tongue. Making him yearn for more. Swallowing he quickly began to devore more until barely any crumbs were left. He threw it in the overflowing trash can before letting out a massive belch. "What was I..." Rody eyes his guitar. "Shit!" He shouted as he grabbed it. Carefully placing it in its case before slinging the case on his back. Snatching his bike from off the floor, and rushing out of his apartment. Pedaling as fast as he could down the streets of France. Making his way to Leo and Mathew's house. They had a single story house with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Though his house did have something nobody else's in the band did, a garage. Mathew had moved his car out so everyone and their instruments could fit. It also worked out since they both rarely actually used it. Probably the only other reason they almost always practiced there was because Mathew was the only one who had a piano. Rody wouldn't be lying if he hadn't thought it was weird why someone would leave a piano in a garage. Then again who would steal a piano? The thing was big and heavy. Not to mention how hard it would be to get inside the house. Leo's drums on the other hand he couldn't entirely wrap his head around. Especially considering that it was just him and Mathew living in the house. Then again the sound may drive someone insane. As Rody pedaled up. By now everybody was there. To Rody's relief Richard was not there. "Hey Rody, what took you so long?" Andrew asked. "Lost track of time." Rody said through huffing breaths. "Do you need some water?" Leo asks. Rody nodded as he placed his bike against the nearest wall. Leo walked inside leaving the group to the room. Stolls had been set up around the area. Each had several papers on music stands. "You're next to me." James said as he patted the stool next to him. Rody smiled and walked over as Andrew played a few notes. "Alright, the strings together." Rody said as he walked over and sat down. Slipping the case from off of his back and removing his guitar from its case. Pulling it out and playing a few notes. Notes that were oddly familiar from a night almost a week ago. He smiled faltered, but was quickly lit back up when he was handed a glass of water. He quickly chugged it down. Leaving it off with a satisfied ah. "Goddamn you were thirsty." Dolly said from her stool. "Biking nearly three blocks will do that to you." Rody said as Leo took the glass and placed it on a table near the corner of the room littered with random household supplies for maintenance. "Alright y'all ready to start?" Dolly asked as Leo sat at his drums. "Ready." Everyone else replied.
