A puff of smoke emerged from his lips. Flying off past him beyond the crowded cityscape. Leaning on the white wooden railing of their apartment. He could hear a door open behind him. Soft steps approaching him. "I know you're there." Vincent said in a sing-song voice as he heard an exasperated groan. "One day, I'll get you." Rody said as he leaned his head over his shoulder. Wrapping his arms around Vincent's waist. "Mhm." Vincent said as he turned his head to see Rody with a small smile. "You've been trying that for nearly a year, and it has not worked." Vincent said as he playfully booped Rody's nose. "You never know." Rody teased as Vincent rolled his eyes before he plunged his elbow into Rody's stomach. Rody grunted as he loosened his grip on his waist. "I'm surprised you haven't been rushing to get ready for your band practice." Vincent said as he walked over to the coffee table and pressed his cigarette butt into the ashtray. Extinguishing it with a hiss. "Don't try to get rid of me now." Rody said as he shut the door behind him before quite literally tackling him on the couch. Vincent grunted as Rody flopped on top of him. "Really?" Vincent said as he looked up at the mess of red hair moving up to give Vincent a look at blue gray eyes. "Really." Rody replied before locking lips with Vincent. He didn't hesitate to kiss him back. It had been a year since he met Rody. A year since his life had changed. Rody had melted the bitterness around his heart. Bringing a life into his life he wasn't sure he would even be able to live without. Living with him in their own apartment. Rody having a successful band career, and Vincent doing well in his orchestra. The only thing that could add to the loveliness he was given was to be engaged. Even if it would have to be illegal, yet one day they could be properly together. With no fear of being shunned. As Rody parted lips with him Vincent smiled. Hands tangled in his hair. "I love you Rody." Vincent said as Rody smiled back. "I love you too, Vincent."
