T.W: Panic attack

Rody dreaded changing into his uniform. He didn't have to. His shift didn't start for another hour. Yet he didn't feel like changing into comfortable clothes after his shower and then changing into his uniform. A bad feeling remained in his gut. His parents could show up at any moment to his work. Even though he felt a bit safer at Vincent's. That still didn't stop the fear. He finished buttoning his vest before hanging his tie around his neck. He still didn't know how to tie it. He grabbed the brush he had brought with him as he began to attempt to brush through the tangled mess of his hair. Though it wasn't enough. But it was better than nothing. He exited the bathroom. Vincent was in the living room playing his cello again. Rody smiled as he walked over to him. He stood over and watched him. The song he was playing was quite relaxing. It brought a smile to his face. That's when he noticed Vincent wasn't dressed in his usual chef's clothes. Rather instead he was wearing a gray button up shirt with black slacks with black dress shoes. "Why are you not dressed in your uniform?" Rody asked. Vincent played a few more notes before stopping on a note that felt just right. Vincent placed the bow on the shelf. "I have something to do for the orchestra today. Richard is taking over supervising today." Vincent explained as he placed his cello back onto the stand. "That makes sense." Rody said as Vincent stood up. "Why are you in your uniform?" Vincent asked. Rody shrugged. "Didn't feel like changing into casual clothes after a shower." Rody explained as Vincent put his hand in his hair. "Your hair is still a little damp." Vincent commented before looking back to the tie. "Do you ever tie this?" Vincent asked as he got to work tying Rody's tie. "I was never taught how." Rody said. Vincent's facial expression didn't change. "About time you learn." Vincent replied. Rody shrugged. "I'd rather have you do it. It means I get to look at you longer." Rody said rather flirtingly. He could see a small flush appear on Vincent's as he pulled the knot up. Before quickly pulling him closer to him and bringing him into a kiss. Rody melted into it as he wrapped his arms around Vincent's neck. Vincent followed, placing his hands down to his waist. Their lips were locked to each other. With Rody's hands starting to tangle in his red hair. He felt desperate for more. He wished he could just kick work to the curve. He was surprised when Vincent bit at his bottom lip. Rody pulled away. Vincent seemed confused, but a little taken aback. "Too far?" Vincent asked as he loosened his grip on Rody's waist. "No, it was fine. I just don't want to go really far before work." Rody explained as he rubbed his hand on the back of his neck. "We don't have to go all the way mon cheri." Vincent said as he cupped his cheek before planting a quick peck on his lips. Rody smiled as he leaned in and gave Vincent another solid kiss. "Honestly I don't think I'd be ready for..." Rody felt slightly embarrassed to say the word. "Sex in awhile." Rody nodded. Vincent smiled at him. Gently moving his thumb over his cheek. "I have to agree with you. I'd rather go on a few more dates before actually having sex." Vincent said as Rody leaned into his touch. Feeling a strong sense of comfort. "Should we plan for another some time soon?" Rody asked as he reached for Vincent's hand. Vincent let out a laugh. Rody felt his heart melt. It wasn't often that he saw Vincent laugh. It actually made him smile. "I've got something in mind." Vincent replied. Rody was surprised to say the least. "Wait Really?" Rody replied as Vincent smiled. "It's a secret." Rody groaned as Vincent chuckled. "You did the same to me.: He replied as he moved his chin up and gave him another quick kiss.

Rody sighed as he leaned against the wall. He missed being in Vincent's company. Though he would be lying if he didn't say that work was still quite manageable. The atmosphere was friendly. A lot more friendly than with Vincent supervising. That being said, he didn't have the excuse to talk to his boyfriend. Yet he couldn't say today wasn't bad. He also had another date to look forward to with Vincent. It made him wonder what he had in mind. Would he take him on a walk through a park? Maybe a nice cafe like they visited that one time? Rody grabbed the orders and brought them to the table of four. Just as he placed them down. Dillian grabbed his attention by gently poking his shoulder. "There's a couple that said they would like to be seated by you." Dillian whispered. Rody furrowed a brow. His expression seemed anxious. It made Rody feel uneasy, Yet he had to shrug it off. Maybe it was Manon and her new boyfriend. Then he froze. It was not Manon. It was the people he didn't want to see. "Rody you have some explaining to do." His mother said sternly. A line of people had already formed behind them. "I am at work. You can talk to me later." He said quickly. His heart rate started to increase. "No you are not escaping this. You've been ignoring us." His mother yelled. Causing all eyes to turn onto them. Rody could feel it. It was happening again. It was going to happen again. "You have nothing to say for yourself after all this!" His mother shouted. "You literally stalked me and showed up at my apartment!" Rody shouted. This only angered his parents further. Rody's mind flashed back to the nightmare he had the previous night. His parents sawed him through the meat grinder. He could almost feel the pain of the toothpick piercing his flesh. A sick feeling grew to his stomach. "NOW..." "Hold it, hold it." Rody looked behind him. Richard was already approaching the couple. His voice having the all too familiar customer service sweetness lacing it. Yet behind his warm look is his face. Rody could see the annoyance behind his eyes. "Rody, why don't you go to the back?" Rody knew better than to think that was a question. He even took it as a saving grace as he rushed into the kitchen. Hiding in the restroom. He sunk to the ground as he began to hyperventilate. "Just calm down." He said as he took a deep breath in through his nose and out of his mouth. Yet he found it hard to do the action again. As his breathing only worsened. A ringing began playing in his ears as his hands and feet began to tingle. Just calm down. Was all he could think. But it wasn't working. Everything was becoming worse by the second. All crumbling down he couldn't breathe. He couldn't breathe. Calm down. Was all he could think on repeat and it was failing him miserably. Oxygen became less and less. The door opened. "Hey Ro.. OH MY GOD!" A cook whose face he couldn't make out crouched next to him. "RODY CAN YOU HEAR ME?" He could barely make out thudding footsteps running over to him through the ringing. Yet it didn't soothe his nerves. In fact it just made it worse as he heard voices all mixing and murring together. Thousands of eyes all focusing on him. Then he fell forward. Everything went black..
