In a couple of hours Rody was cleared from the hospital. Both leaving with great relief and a heft bill. Rody instead pays for it. Vincent made him split it again so he could have some money for rent. When stepping outside Rody took a deep breath. Vincent let him stand there before Rody looked at him. "Let's head back to yours." Rody said as Vincent nodded. Guiding Rody to his car. As soon as they get in, Rody leans on Vincent's shoulder. Vincent smiled as he started the car. "Shall we celebrate with wine?" Vincent half joked, and was half serious. Rody looked back at him with a mischievous grin. "Hell yeah." Rody replied as Vincent chuckled before pulling out of the parking lot.

The drive was unfortunately longer than he wanted it to be. When the two arrived at Vincent's apartment. Rody got out and immediately stretched his back. Leaving it with a loud crack. Vincent rolled his eyes before the two walked inside the apartment building. As soon as they were inside Rody grabbed Vincent's hand. Keeping it in hold all the way there. Almost as soon as Vincent shut the door he was pushed against the wall. Rody immediately locks lips with Vincent. Vincent melted into it. Wrapping his arms around Rody's neck. Clawing at his fingers as Rody's tongues eagerly licked at his lips. Vincent opened his mouth letting Rody slip his tongue inside. Vincent could feel Rody's tongue move around. Tracing other his teeth and licking over his own tongue. They broke the kiss. A string of silva connecting their lips as the two were huffing with a smile placed on both of their lips. "I didn't know you were that desperate." Vincent teased, causing Rody to turn red. "I mean I couldn't kiss you as passionately at the hospital." Rody replied, removing his arms away from Vincent. Vincent smiled as he began to walk further inside. "Shall I start on dinner?" Vincent asked as Rody followed him. "So we're going to wine, and dine tonight?" Rody replied as Vincent shrugged. "Might as well." He said as he walked over into the kitchen and began to grab out ingredients, and dishes. Rody walked over to his wine cupboard. Grabbing three bottles and brought them over to the table. Before returning over and grabbing two glasses. Vincent moved around beginning to light the stove and placing pans out while moving around beginning to chop some of the vegetables. He heard the pop of the cap before looking back to see Rody pouring the red wine into the glasses. Vincent chuckled. "Don't start drinking without me." He said as Rody walked back in and placed the glasses on the counter. Rody sighed as Vincent began to chop some carrots. Rody sat down on a stool and laid his head in his hand. Watching Vincen go through and chop the vegetables. "You know this can be done faster if you help." Vincent replied as Rody looked away. "I don't know if you would want me to cook." Vincent raised a brow. "And why is that?" Vincent asked as he looked up at Rody as he grabbed a tomato. "I've somehow burnt everything I've tried to cook." Rody admitted embarrassingly. Vincent looked back at him confused. "How the hell did you manage that?" Vincent asked. Rody just shrugged. "Well there's a first time for everything." Vincent said as Rody looked at him confused. "Get your ass over here, you're learning how to cook." Vincent said. Rody remained seated before getting up and walking over as Vincent moved the tomato and grabbed another carrot. He handed Rody the knife. Rody grabbed it and began to cut the vegetables. He wasn't bad at it, but they could be better. When he was done slicing the carrot Vincent took the knife back and went back and resliced some of the thicker ones. He grabbed another carrot and lent the knife back to Rody. Rody seemed a little embarrassed and confused on how to proceed. Vincent moved behind him. Holding his hands and moving them to the right places. He moved to the side a bit as he helped Rody get a feel for cutting the vegetables. "Like this." Vincent said as he looked back at Rody. It was then he realized how flustered Rody looked. Vincent also became flustered. Removing his hands from Rody's. "Got it." Rody said as he looked back at the cutting board. Vincent smiled as he walked over and began to prepare the beef. Pat it down and season it before bringing it to the preheated pan and letting it roast. He looked back over at Rody who was doing a good job at cutting the vegetables in the way Vincent wanted him. "Not looking half bad for someone who can't cook." Vincent replied as he walked over to the sink and washed his hands. Rody looked back at him with a small smile. "You really think so?" The way his tone sounded made it sound genuine. Vincent gave him a sweet smile back. "I do." Rody gave him another large smile as he went back to chopping the vegetables. Eventually everything was chopped and was put into the pan alongside the beef. "Keep an eye on those. Mix them around with the wooden spoon. When they start to turn brown, turn the heat down." Vincent explained as he opened a cupboard and pulled down another set of spices. Moving over the vegetables hadn't fully started to burn. Giving him time to throw in a mix of the other spices whilst Rody stirred it around. Eventually the meal was ready. Rody grabbed the glasses and moved them to the table. While Vincent grabbed two plates and placed. He used a different knife to cut the beef in half before placing the separated halves on the plate with several of the vegetables. Returning over and placing a plate in front of Rody. "Have we swapped roles now?" Rody asked as Vincent placed his plate down and began to walk back to the kitchen. "What do you mean?" Vincent asked as he grabbed two steak knives and two plates. "I cooked the food, and you served it." Rody said with a grin on his face. Vincent rolled his eyes, and scoffed. "You helped." He lent Rody a steak knife and a fork. "Yeah so I cooked." Rody replied as he cut into his steak. Vincent shook his head. "Whatever you say dear." Vincent replied as he began to cut into his food. One bite in for Rody and he was immediately met with a happy smile. "This taste so fucking good!" He said as he quickly went in for the vegetables. Shoving it in his mouth without swallowing what he had previously. Vincent would be lying if he didn't say that was slightly disgusting as some small crumbs left his mouth unnoticed. Yet Rody's reaction made him easily forget. "And the vegetables are wonderful!" He said before finally swallowing it. Vincent gave a smile as he placed his own fork of beef and vegetables in his mouth. Yet he was quickly met with disappointment. No taste ever came from it. All that was in there was the soft feeling of the cooked vegetables and the crumbly texture of the beef. Vincent quickly reached for his glass and took a sip. Rody seemed to have noticed his dissatisfaction. "Is everything alright?" Rody asked, his face showing concern, maybe even sadness. "Everything's alright, it's just that I can't taste it." Vincent explained as Rody came to the quick realization of his condition. "Oh shit, I forgot. I'm sorry." Rody replied, his eyes darting away as his hand reached and scratched the back of his neck. Vincent immediately started to feel bad. "It's fine seeing how you reacted. I at least know it's great." Rody looked back at him and gave him a smile. "Hey." Rody said as he grabbed his glass. "Let's not feel down tonight." Rody said as he held out his glass. Vincent picked up his own and clinked it against Rody's. The two immediately took a drink.

Eventually the plates were thrown in the sink. Left to clean the next day as the two lovers had wandered off into Vincent's room. Admiring the stars from the large windows as they sipped at their glasses. As one bottle became empty, then two, and the third one was almost empty. It was safe to say that the two were most certainly drunk. Vincent had chosen to lay on Rody's lap and look up at him. He had found Rody's thighs were surprisingly comfortable. Rody was still sitting up. Swaying ever so slightly. One his hands was playing around with Vincent's hair. The other holding his nearly empty glass. Rody brought his glass to his lips. Officially emptying it, before grabbing the bottle. "Are you going to finish that all by yourself handsome?" Vincent said as he emptied his glass. "Just one more." Rody slurred as he began to pour himself another one. "You said that last time." Vincent slurred. His glass sat near them. Completely empty as he decided to stop drinking when he started stumbling when walking over to the other bottle. "Well this time I mean it." Rody replied as his glass was only filled a fourth of the way. "Because we are out!" Rody shouted as he lifted his glass into the air before taking a drink. "Share some with me." Vincent replied as Rody stopped halfway. "You said you wouldn't have any more." Rody replied leaning down over Vincent. "One sip is not going to kill me." Vincent replied as he sat up and began to turn around. Rody took the last bits in before placing the glass to the side. Vincent was about to complain until Rody moved to sit on his lap. Wrapping his arms around Vincent's neck before immediately kissing him. Vincent let his mouth slip open as he could feel the alcohol run from Rody's mouth into his. Rody parted with him as Vincent swallowed it. His mind was still in a haze as he pulled Rody back in for another kiss. His arms found their way to Rody's waist. Hugging around him and barely touching his ass. He slipped his tongue into Rody's mouth. Exploring every inch he could as he moved it up to touch the roof of Rody's mouth before grazing over Rody's teeth. He felt Rody give a small shiver before pulling away. Rody took a gasp of air as Vincent's eyes drifted to his neck. Without too much though he pressed his lips neary Rody's Adam's apple. Planting a kiss and proceeding to suck on that spot. His eyes glared up at Rody as he let out another gasp. He leaned his head back. Leaving more of his neck exposed to Vincent. Taking it as a sign to continue, Vincent began to pepper kisses on Rody's neck. Hearing soft noise escaping from Rody's lips as he moved one of his hands up to tangle in Rody's hair. One of Rody's hands was on his shoulder. The other gripped onto his head. He Sucked and nibbled on a few spots. Leaving a few small hickey's to adorn his neck. One of Vincent's hands began to move down. Clutching Rody's shirt in a ball as he pulled it up. Releasing it from its tucked position. Vincent snuck a hand under. Rody's skin felt warm compared to his hand as he began to trace it over his side. Rody's grip on him tightened a bit as Vincent made his way further down Rody's neck. Removing his hands and using them to start to unbutton Rody's shirt. "Wait!" Rody said as Vincent got the first button undone. He paused and looked up at Rody. "I don't want to go any further." Rody said. Vincent was a little confused. He seemed to be enjoying it. His perplexity must have shown. As Rody looked away. "I've never had sex with a man before, and I don't really want to do it while..." "Drunk?" Vincent asked as Rody nodded sheepishly. Vincent gave him a sweet smile. He understood where Rody was coming from. It was new territory, and maybe he wanted it to be special. Vincent moved a hand to caress his cheek. "That's alright. If you don't want to go further we won't go further." Vincent replied as Rody leaned into his touch. He smiled and looked at Vincent. His eyes dazzling from the light seeping into the room. "Thanks love." He replied before leaning in and kissing him. It was a lustful kiss like they had before. This one was softer and sweet. The type that Vincent melted into. Rody pulled back before leaning his head on Vincent's shoulder. Vincent moved a hand to play with the ends of his hair. Rubbing it gently as Rody relaxed into his touch. "Do you want to go to bed?" Vincent whispered not letting up. "Yeah." Rody whispered back as Vincent moved his arms so Rody could stand up. He stubbled a bit when he fully stood up before flopping down onto the bed. Vincent chuckled as he followed suit. Though he walked around to the otherside. Kicking his shoes off before unbuttoning his shirt. "You don't mind if I sleep shirtless?" Vincent glanced back as Rody was already snuggling under the covers. "Not at all." Rody replied as Vincent continued to unbutton his shirt. Flinging it off before moving around. He heard a whistle from Rody. Vincent looked over to see him looking him up and down. A red appeared on his face. Vincent chuckled as he laid down next to him. "Like what you see?" He teased. Rody became more flustered before nodding. Vincent looked lips with him, moving his arms around his neck. Rody snaked his around Vincent's waist. His hands felt nice on Vincent's usually cold skin. Eventually he broke the kiss. "Goodnight mon cheri." Vincent said. "Goodnight love." Rody whispered as the two dozed off.
