Brill's Pov
Today I was getting banished. I didn't even do anything! They were framing me for something. Stupid Gally must have been behind this. I don't understand why he hates me. Ever since I came out of the box he's had this distaste of me. I checked my watch anxiously again. The doors were going to be closing in ten minutes and all I thought about how much I loved Newt.
Newt's Pov
Minho arrived with Brill and pushed her outside the Glade. I couldn't watch as the doors closed. I loved her so much and now they were taking her away from me. We all turned around to go back to our rooms. I cried the whole night as I heard her screams.
I had been in my room for two weeks since they banished Brill. I don't think I could go on much longer without her in my life. I came out of my room in the middle of the night and ran into the woods. I was crying and aching for a way to make the pain of Brill being gone stop. I halted as I came upon the lake. I looked at my reflection in the water. All I saw was pain and sorrow in the ripples the wind was creating. I knew what I had to and jumped in. Hopefully never to return to the Glade again.
