Minho's Pov
Having Cater around was a blessing but a curse at the same time. I mean he was adorable and an angel during the day but the second Emma and I tried to get some sleep he'd cry. His cry was piercing and it was then how great full I was to Alby for giving us our own room far away from the other Gladers. I was just barely managing to deal with a crying baby but I don't think I'd be able to handle sleep deprived and grumpy teenage boys. Poor Emma. She looked exhausted. She was constantly getting up and down to be with Carter. She had put him to sleep about an hour ago. Emma came back to bed and plopped down face first. I chuckled and wrapped my arms around her and moved her closer so I could rest my head on her shoulder. Sleep came to the both of us pretty easliy. Just when I thought we were going to get to sleep for the rest of the night, Carter's screams filled the room. Before Emma could get up again I shot up and ran to the crib that Gally had made for us. I gently picked him up.
" Hey Carter. It's ok. Daddy's got you," I cooed to him. I felt him relax in my arms. Instead of putting him back in the crib I walked over to the rocking chair and sat down. I positioned him so his head was laying on my shoulder. I slowly began to rock back and forth while quietly humming him a song. I didn't want to wake up Emma. I looked over to see her still sleeping soundly. Good. My eyes began to feel heavy and before I knew it I was asleep.
Emma's Pov
I woke up to see Minho not next to me. Thinking he went to the Maze early, I got up and went to go get Carter. I stopped in my tracks and gazed upon the scene in front of me. Carter was in Minho's atms who was in the rocking chair. Both boys were asleep. My heart gushed at how cute they were.
" Take a picture. It'll last longer," Minho groggily mumbled. I laughed thinking he was asleep. I went up to him and gave him a sweet kiss.
" Thanks for letting me sleep," I whispered to him not trying to wake up Carter.
" You know I'd do anything for you two," He replied. I left the two boys and went to get some breakfast.
" How's mommy doing?" Newt asked.
" Okay. Tired but okay. " I responded.
" when can I spend some time with him?"
" When you want. Minho and carter are still asleep. "
" Perfect." Newt smirked before he ran off. Good luck Minho.
