Thomas ' s Pov
Lilly and I have been dating for a couple of months now. Everyday I go out in the Maze and hope something doesn't happen to her while I'm gone. Today I had a bad feeling about leaving Lilly but I pushed the thought out of my mind. All day I had this feeling nagging me. After a while I couldn't take it any longer and I darted back to the Glade. Lilly was a builder so that's where I looked for her first. I peeked my head around the corner to see Lilly was fine but she was talking to Gally. He already got on my nerves and I didn't need him messing around with her either. I stopped dead in my tracks when he said something that made me ball my fists.
" C'mon Lilly. You don't need Thomas. You deserve better than him. You and I both know I'd treat you better," Gally tried to persuade her.
" I'd rather not. Thomas is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love him ," my heart swelled at her words. She loved me?
" Too bad. You're mine now."
I gritted my teeth as he put a hand around her pulling her close to him. I wasn't going to tolerate this. I walked up to him and punched him in his nose. He looked confused and held his nose for a few seconds before he stumbled back unconscious.
" No one touches my girl," I told Lilly as I brought her close to me.
" Thanks Thomas. I don't know what I would have done without you," she relpied as she kissed me. I pulled away after some time and smiled at her.
" Don't worry about it. That's what I'm here for. I love you too lilly," I said closing the distance between us again.
