Emma's Pov
Ever since Teresa's gotten here all she's been doing is getting on my nerves. She flirts with everyone and that includes Minho. Not only that, she's been egging me on trying to get a reaction out of me. So far I've managed to control myself but I fear that one of these days I'm going to loose it. Today I was walking around the Glade enjoying my day off from running. Suddenly I was face down on the ground. I get back up and looked to see Teresa smirking over me.
" Oops. Sorry. Not," she taunted. I really wasn't in the mood to deal with her today.
" Go find someone else to bother, " I retorted.
" Fine. I'll go find Minho. He'll probably leave you once I get through talking to him. I bet he never loved you anyway."
I could feel my fists clenching and my teeth grinding together.
"What did you say?" I snarled.
" You heard me. " she taunted once again pushing me.
I had had it. It was like something on me snapped and I lunged toward her. I was so angry at her. We wrestled on the ground pulling each others hair. Soon enough fists were flying. She landed a good punch to my eye which i felt beginning to swell. After a while Teresa stopped fighting back but that didn't stop my fists from colliding into her. Suddenly I was yanked off of her by Gally and he restrained me from trying to go back. Jeff and Clint showed up and carted Teresa away. Soon everyone was surrounding me. It was only when I looked at both Alby and Minho that I realized what I had done and the punishment that came with it: banishment. I was thrown into the pit immediately.
Minho's Pov
I can't believe that Emma did that. She must have had a reason because she isn't violent nor does she lose her cool. I knew what Alby was going to do to her. I couldn't live with my if she was banished. I argued and fought him about it.
" Look Minho, not only did she break our number one rule, but she could have killed her. Teresa was lucky she's only in a coma. Emma deserves it," Alby stated and walked off.
I broke down crying knowing there was no way out of this. I must look awful and helpless which is the exact way I felt. I walked over to Emma's cell in the pit.
" Minho ? Are you mad at me?" " She asked in a shaky voice.
"No babe. I know you have a good reason for it. And before you ask I still love you. I made a promise to you that nothing would ever change that including this." I replied. We talked for a while until we were both asleep. I woke up due to the other Keepers tying Emma up for the banishment. I had a constant flow of tears the whole way to the Maze entrance. I turned my head, I couldn't watch them do this to her.
" Ok stop. Emma isn't getting banished. I've considered what Minho's told me and Teresa must have deserved something. Plus I hate seeing Minho cry like a two year old. But Emma is sentenced to a week in the slammer. Everyone go back to what they were doing." Alby shouted. He walked toward me and whispered "you owe me," and walked off. I ran and took Emma into my arms. I loved her so much. I'd rather die than have her be banished.
" Why are you still crying? " she asked me with a smile on her face.
"Because i still have you," I replied with tears of joy streaming down my cheeks.
