Emma's Pov
Minho and I ran into the Maze today because yesterday we had discovered a new section. Gally handed me a drink just before I left. I hesitantly drank it with him saying that it was a specially designed energy drink. I chugged it down and sprinted into the Maze. Minho and I didn't stop for any breaks not even for lunch. We had to see if this way finally led a way out. We ran every inch of it but we found nothing. The doors would be closing soon so we headed back. To say I was tired was quite the understatement. I could barely walk as I dragged myself to the map room with Minho close behind me.
Minho's Pov
I was tired but Emma was even more so than I was. She trudged her way to the mapping table. She was absolutely exhausted. I laughed as her head dropped on the table. We could map it out another day. I went up to her and picked up her limp body for she was already passed out. I carried her into my room and set her on my bed and then I layed next to her. Soon my eyes drifted off into slumber. The next thing I knew I woke up to Emma freaking out. Thinking she was in danger I shot up but laughed what I saw what it was really about.
Emma's Pov
When I woke it was already the next morning. We had slept through dinner? We must have been that tired. I looked at myself in the mirror so I could properly braid my blue hair. Wait? Blue hair! I screamed. My hair has never been blue. I turned around to see Minho laughing at me.
" What's up Smurf?" He teased me.
" Oh shut up. Who did this?" I asked.
" No one got in last night. They know not to mess with me or my girlfriend. Have you done anything out of ordinary? "
" No I don't think so. All I did was drink that energy drink... Gally!"
I stormed out of the room and pounded on Gally ' s door. He opened up and stared in shock. I had asked him what he put in the drink but he didn't even know. After I cooled off I went back into the Maze. I guess blue hair won't be so bad right?
