"Minho." Hyunjin said. "Shoot it."

Minho didn't move at first. He was staring at the monster with terrified eyes and something like the curiosity of a child. Hyunjin almost groaned in annoyance at the other not responding, though he too barely managed to move.

"Minho-"
"I can't." Minho whispered. Hyunjin sighed in frustration and maybe even in fear. He looked to his right and saw his gun laying on the floor. He ducked, not letting his eyes wander off of the squirming and screeching monster.

When felt his fingertips brush the cold metal he grasped for the handle. He felt the cold metal in his palm and raised it, pointing it at the monster's head.

Hyunjin slowly stood up straight and carefully walked closer to the horrid monster. The moment it noticed Hyunjin coming closer with the gun it stopped squirming and it didn't let out another sound. It's protuberant, beady eyes not leaving Hyunjin's gaze.

The creature stared intensely at the approaching danger. It was sure that if it wouldn't move the man would think he'd be dead already. So he didn't. He stopped squirming. Played dead.

Hyunjin noticed multiple shot wounds in his body, though unfortunately no bullets had hit its head. He internally cursed Minho for practically wasting all those bullets.

Hyunjin stopped. He looked right into the beady eyes, and he slowly squeezed the trigger. He heard the slight creaking of the spiral spring. The cold metal was finally starting to warm up because of Hyunjin's hand.

The monster whined one last time before a loud 'PANG' filled the room, making Minho jump up.

Hyunjin gagged as he felt something splatter on his face. He didn't even want to know what it was. He just quickly wiped it off and tried to ignore the intense stench of the liquid.

Minho was shaking, and so was Hyunjin. Both didn't move for a solid minute. Hyunjin clenched his eyes shut for another one,

"I thought she had been kidding." Minho gulped. Really slowly, he lowered the gun. When the tip reached the ground he let go of the handle and let the gun clatter onto the ground.

"I thought she had been joking when she said we'll find out for ourselves. Why it is called the Monster's Labyrinth." Minho let out a sound that Hyunjin made out as a sob. But it could've just as well been a scoff. Or a sigh. Or a mixture of all three.

"Me too." Hyunjin said. The two fell silent again. They didn't move, their eyes glued to the horrid monster that was laying motionless in front of them.

"No." Hyunjin spoke out of nowhere. "We didn't think she was joking." He gulped.

"We hoped she had been joking." He said. "Everyone there was aware of her serious tone beneath that disgusting smirk."

Minho nodded. Hyunjin finally managed to tear his gaze away from the motionless creature, and he turned away, towards the other male.

"Minho, how late is it?" He asked. As if snapped out of a trance Minho finally tore his gaze away from the dead monster as well.

Hyunjin saw Minho roll up his sleeve, revealing both the black glass bracelet and the digital watch they had found in one of his bags. He pressed the sides of the digital watch and Hyunjin saw the tiny screen light up.
"In one minute it is six o'clock." Minho spoke in a monotone voice, since he was scared that it would shake again.

Hyunjin sighed. His body had finally stopped trembling (mostly) and he felt a tiny bit embarrassed about his reaction from earlier. "Well." He said. "I think it's better if we-"
