(Romantic Homicide • d4vd)
Hyunjin and Felix were enjoying their meal in comfortable silence. They had somehow managed not to burn the kitchen down while making lasagna.
Listen, Felix was great in the kitchen, but Hyunjin on the other hand had more left hands than he could count on his fingers.
Felix had taught Hyunjin how to turn on the oven, but he somehow managed to make the first portion of lasagna go up in literal flames. Even Felix was impressed by his… would you call this an inability or capability?
It turned out he had dropped some aluminum foil on top of the lasagna, and it had somehow caught fire.Suddenly Felix looked up, as he did most of the time when something popped up in his mind and he had to get it out right that moment. Hyunjin immediately paid attention.
“Hyunjin?” Felix asked calmly. Hyunjin, who was listening already, nodded.
Felix looked back at his food for a moment, which was actually surprisingly good, and then back at Hyunjin.“Are you ever scared to fall?” He asked. Hyunjin took a deep breath before answering: “As in falling down physically or in another way?”
“No, figuratively.” Felix said. Hyunjin hummed. He thought about his coming answer for a moment.
“I am.” He eventually admitted. “All of the time actually.”Felix looked at Hyunjin in surprise. He hadn’t been able to tell at all.
“Really?” He asked. “What is it that triggers that fear, then?”Hyunjin shrugged his shoulders. “I think I’m mostly scared of falling and not being able to get back up.” He said a bit absently. Felix smiled, relating to the feeling. He reached his hand over the table and put it on top of Hyunjin’s, which triggered a smile to crawl up the elder’s face.
“Well, honey.” Felix spoke softly. “I promise that whenever you fall or think you’re falling, I’ll catch you.”
Hyunjin smiled. “And what if you fail in catching me?” He asked. “Do you promise to take care of yourself if that happens?” He asked.
Felix shook his head. “No, Hyunjin.” He smiled. “I’m bound to you by life, if you fall I’ll promise to fall with you.”
(Cigarettes out the Window • TV Girl)
Hyunjin was sitting against the marble wall. He was turning the black and white rings on his right hand. It somehow always managed to calm him, even though it saddened him.
They had managed to somehow escape the monster without anyone getting hurt. The monster had been this huge stone statue that kept smashing in all the doors and even the ceiling.
However it had been slow, so they were able to outrun it.Jisung and Minho were very much enjoying each other’s company. Minho had his arm around Jisung’s shoulder and Jisung was clinging to Minho’s chest. They sat beside each other and caught up with each other about what the fuck had all happened to them, stealing kisses and glances from each other in the meantime.
Suddenly Jisung shot up. Hyunjin didn’t notice, since he was too busy with thinking about a certain someone, but Minho obviously did.
“What’s wrong, baby?” He asked. Jisung just stood up.
“I’ll be back in a minute.” He said. He rushed towards Hyunjin. He had suddenly remembered something he ought to tell Hyunjin as fast as possible.“Hyunjin!” He softly exclaimed. Hyunjin snapped out of his thoughts and looked up at Jisung, who quickly sat down beside him. “Hyunjin, I need to tell you something.” His voice was laced with necessity. “It’s very important that you know.”
