"Felix, on the count of three you run down the path as fast as you can, do you understand?" Hyunjin said strictly, the only thing on his mind was protecting his beloved.

He could almost feel the way Felix's eyes widened as his body tensed. "I'm not leaving you behind." He spoke.
"Felix-"

"Stop all the whispering and face us, dammit." The deep, ragged voice yelled out of nowhere. Hyunjin jolted his head towards the place he heard the voice come from. A scowl was starting to form in the back of his throat.

In front of him stood a man, he was somewhere in his sixties and the little hair that he had left was colored gray.
Despite the man's age the man looked fit, but mostly dangerous. He had broad shoulders with some kind of leather armour protecting them. He was much taller than Hyunjijn but that could've been because of his platform shoes. One of his eyes was covered with a ridiculous eye patch that you always see on pirates in films.

His lower left arm had been replaced with what looked like a huge, heavy tube. Though it looked much too advanced in technology to be just a regular replacement. And it definitely wasn't there for decoration.

All by all Hyunjin was surprised by how healthy and well taken care of the man looked. His teeth were surprisingly white and his face and clothes were spotless. Yet Hyunjin still felt disgusted by the man somehow.

"Gentlemen, gentlemen..." The man said with a sickening smirk on his face. He walked closer and opened his arms 'welcomingly'. Hyunjin felt Felix squeeze his hand. He slowly squinted his eyes in disgust towards the man in front of him.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Hyunjin asked in a firm tone.
"I just need you two to come with me." The man said. The grin on his face widened which almost made Hyunjin puke in disgust at the elder man.

"We're not going anywhere!" The deep voice of Felix reverberated between the few trees that stood there. Hyunjin felt his heart swell for the younger's bravery.

Hyunjin squeezed Felix's hand, not sure what he wanted to say with it though. He wanted to say so many thing, because what would happen next?

They certainly wouldn't be let go to their home, those guys didn't look kind whatsoever. They would fight for sure.
Hyunjin knew one thing for sure though. He wasn't going to let Felix get involved in the fight. And he was definitely not letting him get hurt.

"Felix, remember." Hyunjin whispered soft enough only for his husband to hear. Hyunjin could feel Felix's resin rings that were identical to his pressing in the curves of his fingers, probably leaving a print. Though it was calming somehow.
"On the count of three, run." Hyunjin hushed breathlessly.
"But-"

The man in front of them chuckled grimly. "Now why don't you two come with us? We won't have to hurt you-"
"One." Hyunjin whispered.
"We will just take you to where you should be and-"
"Two." Hyunjin's breath got stuck in his throat. He noticed the way the rest of the man were closing the two in.

A sudden realisation hit him that if he'd let Felix run off, he would be most surely left to fight those twelve men alone. If he'd be lucky he'd be able to kill about half of them, but he wouldn't be able to win from all of them.

Either way his biggest concern was how to get Felix into safety.

"So just walk inside the cuffs, come with us and-"
"THREE!" Hyunjin yelled out of nowhere. He let go of Felix's hand and swung his sword at the man that was barely two meters beside him, holding a threatening knife towards the man.

He jumped forwards and saw the satisfying shock in the scum's eyes as he slashed the edge of his blade inside the man's neck, cutting through it like butter.

"Felix run!" He yelled. He swung the blade of his sword around him in a threatening way, making a few other men back off. Felix looked at Hyunjin with teared up eyes, being ripped apart between protecting and helping his partner and listening to his partner telling him to save himself.

"Go! Dammit! I love you, GO!" Hyunjin yelled. He felt a superficial slash at his arm and in a reflex he swung the blade in the direction of where the slash had come from.

"Hyunjin!" Felix yelled out, panic and concern dripping off his voice. With his hesitation he had wasted the only chance of him escaping, and he was now being surrounded by other men.

Felix noticed a quick movement from behind him and he turned around in a flash, burying the blade of his dagger deep inside the throat of the man that had tried to attack him. The man choked up and Felix pulled the dagger out to see the man collapse. He felt sick.

"Felix! No RUN DAMMIT!" Hyunjin yelled as he felt a stick hitting his knee. He grunted in pain but swung the sword towards the stick's owner's stomach. With a satisfying slash Hyunjin heard and saw the blade cut right through the man, making his torso fall right beside his legs.

Hyunjin heard Felix yell behind him and without much thought he jolted towards the direction of the sound.
He saw Felix being pinned on a tree with a dagger threatening to cut his throat if he didn't hold it back with his own blade.

"Hyunjin-Goddamit!" Felix grunted in a strained voice, trying to keep his neck away from the nearing blade.
In a flash Hyunjin flew forwards as he grabbed his sword with two hands.

He could feel the snake leather wet with blood and so was his blade, though he couldn't care less. He lifted up his sword above his head and without a second thought he buried it deep inside the male's back. The man fell down and Felix let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding.

Hyunjin flew forwards and kissed Felix on the mouth.
"Felix run." He said sternly. Felix shook his head, tears streaming down his pretty face. He was muttering all kinds of incomprehensible words.
"FELIX GO!" Hyunjin yelled, he didn't even realise that, he too, had tears streaming down his pale cheeks.

He gave Felix a slight push towards the now free pathway. "I'll be fine, run!" Hyunjin yelled. Felix nodded while his limbs were shaking uncontrollably. Hyunjin watched as the man turned around and ran away as hard as he could. He noticed a man trying to follow the younger but Hyunjin cut his throat much faster.

Hyunjin turned away from the direction Felix was running in and faced whoever was behind him, determined to protect his husband.

He hadn't expected to be faced with the elderly man though.
"I believe we have had a wrong start, how about you calm down?" The man smirked in a sickening and maniac way.

The man lifted up his left arm and pointed it in Hyunjin's direction. The arm was extended with a wide pipe formed with what Hyunjin realised was a gun, the end lighting up with blue electricity.

Hyunjin felt like he was being torn apart. He couldn't win from a damn gun.
But Felix...
He couldn't leave him behind...
Would he be able to make it without Hyunjin?
But if he'd keep fighting he'd die for sure...

Hyunjin, knowing he was defeated, put his finger in the red ruby in the pummel of his sword. He felt it fold in his hand and stuck it back in the pocket of his jacket.

The man smirked. "Oh, by the way. Rude of me not to introduce myself." He cackled crazily. "I'm doctor Kim."

And before Hyunjin knew it, a bright blue ball of electricity shot out of the man's arm, hitting Hyunjin full in his chest. He flew backwards and hit the ground hard with his back.
He gasped for air as he felt pain soaring through his veins, electricity making his body jolt and squirm.

And then he blacked out.

If he had been awake for just a few more seconds, he could've felt a certain soft hand cupping his cheeks and maybe he could've even heard the wailing voice of his lover crying his name.
