(Washing Machine Heart • Mitski)
"I see..." Jisung said. "A wall." He sighed.
"Yeah no shit we see it too." Seungmin snapped at the elder. Jisung threw him an offended look, but Minho put his hand on his husband's shoulder to calm him down."Well what now?" Jisung said, a scoff hidden inside his voice. Seungmin threw him a sharp look.
"We're going to search for a lock." Seungmin stated. Jisung snorted but was ignored by pretty much everyone. Only Minho acknowledged him by giving him a gentle stomp in his shoulder to tell him to shut up.The group walked along the broad wall, inspecting every corner and curve.
After about ten minutes they returned to the middle of the dead end."I didn't find anything." Jisung said mockingly. The group didn't speak up but they hadn't found anything either. Seungmin sighed.
Without saying anything he walked over to one of the three walls. He looked a non-specific part up and down and then moved over an inch. He repeated that process a few times until he froze in his tracks.
"What?" Changbin asked curiously. He strode over to Seungmin.
"There's a tile here." Seungmin said, surprised.
Except his marvelous acting wasn't enough to fool Jisung. The man knew Seungmin was faking it, although to his great frustration he still didn't know why.The group slowly moved forwards to where Seungmin and Changbin were standing. Seungmin seemed to think for a moment. He had the ring attached to the necklace in between his fingers, rolling it around carelessly.
"Hyunjin hand me the Medusa." Seungmin said. Without averting his gaze from the tile he reached out his hand. Hyunjin hesitated for a moment, but eventually still handed him the gun.
"Everybody move back." Seungmin said calmly. He loaded the revolver and took a step back, as did the group a few. He then turned the gun diagonally away from the tile and pulled the trigger.
The whole group jumped up. In a reflex Hyunjin immediately looked at his GPS to see if any monsters had heard them.
He saw two nearby red dots, which made him slightly nervous since they were literally standing in a dead end, but at the same time they were pretty far away, so they should be fine.
"There are two red dots, but they're pretty far away so we should be fine." Hyunjin announced. The group looked at him, except for Seungmin, and thanked him for the information.
Seungmin walked over to the tile. Beside the tile was now a deep dent in the marble, where the bullet had hit it. The group was confused for a second, but when Seungmin shoved his finger in the deep dent it immediately became clear.
Seungmin pulled his finger back. He sighed. "Changbin, do we still have those knives?" Seungmin asked. Changbin didn't hesitate and let the bag he had hung over his shoulder fall to the ground. He rummaged a little inside and then revealed a knife.
He handed it over to Seungmin, who took it without a thanks. The man shoved the knife in the dent and tilted it, with the hope that the tile would come loose. The whole group just stood and watched.
"How did he come upon that idea?" Jisung asked suspiciously. Felix shrugged his shoulder.
"He's probably just smart." Felix declared. Jisung sighed at his friend's ignorance.
"But he seems to know what he's doing. With the monsters and the tile which I am sure I didn't see before." Jisung scoffed. Felix smiled softly and put his hand on Jisung's shoulder.
"Are you a little jealous?" Felix teased. Though Jisung took the joke the whole wrong way."Felix, you don't understand!" He hissed, loud enough only for Felix to hear. "He might be dangerous, I don't trust him!" Jisung exclaimed. Felix shrugged a little nervously.
"I don't know Jisung, I don't think it's such a big deal." Felix said. Jisung scoffed and walked away from the conversation, over to his husband and cursing under his breath at his friend's stupidity.
