(Goth • Sidewalks and Skeletons)

Felix felt his breath hitch before it stopped completely. Trying not to scream, which he probably wasn't even capable of, Felix slowly looked down at the hand on his shoulder.

The skin was ragged and pale, almost white looking. It looked like the owner was starved to death with how he could see every curve from its bone. It was icy and made Felix's heartbeat stop.

"Felix, don't move." Hyunjin said with a warning tone. His voice was shaking, as he didn't even try to hide his fear. Felix heard the cocking of multiple guns and it finally dawned on him that this might really be the day he would die.

Dont say that. Felix thought to himself. Remember how many times you've said that shit and look! Your still alive! He tried to cheer himself up.
Felix finally exhaled shakily.

Felix nodded. To be honest, he wasn't even capable of moving more than that, since his body was completely frozen into place.

He remembered the hilt he had stored in one of the pockets in his cargo pants. Would he be able to reach out for it without dying first?

He felt the bony hand tug his shoulder. At first it was more like a nudge, but then it became more powerful and demanding.

But what was strange to Felix was, it was gentle. Almost as if the owner of the hand thought Felix was some kind of porcelain doll it had to handle with care otherwise he would break.

Finally Felix understood what the nudging meant. He clenched his eyes shut.
The owner of the hand wanted him to turn around, and who was he to oblige?

So very slowly, he turned around. With his eyes clenched shut tightly he took in a sharp breath, silently praying for a happy end.

When he had stopped moving there was a pin-drop silence for multiple seconds. No one was breathing nor moving in fear of triggering the monster that now stood directly in front of Felix. When the silence became too suffocating for Felix he finally opened his eyes.

He gasped, but he wasn't sure if it was out of terror or awe.

The thin woman in front of him was about two feet taller than he was at least, forcing him to strain his neck to look at her. Her black eyes were staring at him with a certain kind of gentleness and her full lips were stretched into a straight line. Her long white locks of hair were spread over her shoulders like a beautiful curtain.
She was pale as a ghost, and surprisingly beautiful.

She was surprisingly... human...

Felix's mouth fell open. The woman's hand retreated from his shoulder. He wanted to step back, but the desk stopped him from doing so.

A sudden gunshot was what startled the shit out of Felix. Out of the corner of his eye he could make out Minho looking bewildered and shocked. He had tried to shoot the woman in front of him, but had accidentally missed and hit the wall close to her head instead.

All his other friends also had their guns raised, pointed to the tall woman in front of Felix. He didn't even know how, but he just knew everything would be going down from that moment on.

The next seconds were almost too fast for Felix to comprehend.

The woman flew forward and caged Felix in her long arms. Her long white hair flew in the air and curled and drifted around her head like snakes. She hissed and Felix was pretty sure he had seen the tongue of a snake come out of her mouth before she pressed him against her chest tightly.

He gasped in pain when he felt his wounded arm press against something. The woman seemed to notice but didn't loosen her grip around Felix.

He gasped in fear when he realised he was caged in. The woman tried to move her body in front of him, which hindered him from seeing his friends.
